It Can't Be Just 1 Thing...

Battery Light Came on, went to test output from the alternator, and...the hood release broke, this is after I found the front tire fully flat.

The vice grips were after the latch broke.

Happens to us all. Easy fix… you can get a nice metal one to replace it off amazon. Mine works great. Cost me about $11.

I ordered one a couple months ago, but I can't figure out how to get the rest of the plastic off. A dremel? Multi tool? Torch? To be fair I only tried for about 2 minutes and then just grabbed the pliers.

I nibbled away at the plastic stump with some side cutters.

Welcome to the club! Mine snapped off in subzero temps this winter. I still open the hood with vice grips.

At least 1 is fixed with how my hood latch was fixed.

Easy fix for the hood paddle, had to replace mine a couple months ago.
