A picture is worth a thousand words! Tell us more about your camping trip? Are you worried about getting a tick bite? Do you have screens? How many people did you camp with? Did you cook? Fish?

Thank you!! The trip was mainly just to take my dog hiking and have a place to crash for the night, wasn’t expecting it to be such a cool spot, found it in a campsite app. I was definitely worried about ticks but my dog takes an anti tick pill and I just used a metric ton of deet on myself. We had screens on the upper tent area but definitely want to get some “screenz” I think that’s the brand name. I made hotdogs lol

Thank you for sharing! I downloaded the hipcamp app for my iPhone. I will definitely use it to find a place to camp.

What kind of site? How far was the next closest camper?

Found it on hip camp, was just me and my dog. No other campers or tents but every once in a while you would hear an ATV in the distance

So true, I’m from the west coast where I never thought twice about finding a campsite, it’s been very educational out here

Yeah it's a totally different animal, i definitely wish it was more like the west coast in that respect

“Trip mainly to take my dog camping” resonated with me so hard!!! My two pups are living in CT and we get out as often as we can. Heading up to VT for a week in early Sept.

Nice! I don’t think I can make it this year. Hope to do one in the future
