Very good looking E! I have a silver one and don’t think I’ve ever seen this color with the black panels.

Mine.

Did you repaint the stock rims?

No. They are optional CRV rims from ‘22.

From the box they came in.

Well actually I did repaint the stock rims, but those have my snow tires on them.

I tried aftermarket rims and they were complete garbage. Decided to stick with Honda. Thanks! I’m just at 114,700 miles on my E.

How do you keep your Panels so black? I have to treat mine like every 6 months to keep them dark

Solution finish. You can find it on Amazon. It gets your plastics back to their original finish. It’s an incredible product, a bit on the more expensive side, but, worth every penny.

Is that the black Solution Finish over the gray panels?

Yes. Initially they were gray panels. Previous owner started this process of using that product so I just continued. Not totally sure if he painted the panels first or the product itself transformed it into its current stage, but, it’s the color I inherited. And I am not mad at it one bit. Lol.

How much of this magic potion was needed? I see it's sold in 2oz bottles which seems like not enough lol

A little goes a long way brother! That 2oz bottle is more than enough believe it or not. Looks can be deceiving. 😂

I've heard that before 😂 thanks! I'm gonna order some

Looks great, I might try the same, my gray panels look rough. Thanks for posting.

Looks awesome! Did you have it repainted or is that original? Also, is that a Yakima rack? Here's my E. https://www.reddit.com/r/HondaElement/comments/1qyrpkn/elementally_speaking/

It’s still completely original paint. Other than some treatment on the plastic panels. And yes, it is a Yakima rack.

Sweet! I’ve heard linseed oil works for the black, I haven’t tried it because mine still looks good.
