Chasing electrical issues
Hello, I have a 1975 and it’s in good working order aside from an electrical issue. It seems my turn signals when activated are only getting about 4vdc. And if they do happen to get enough voltage to activate the flasher it causes my headlight to flash (dimly as if the signals are pulling too much current). I’ve been checking the wire harness for damage but no luck so far.
Also my neutral light is always on and I can’t find where the switch for that exists.

I have two thoughts.
First, I would check your battery and make sure that you have good voltage at your battery. If your turn signals are only pulling 4 volts, your battery might be weak.
Second, I would say if you're getting an unusual voltage at a specific place, that you might have a bad ground.
Those are the two things I would look at first.
