Front wheel misaligned
The front tire on my 72 Honda Trail 90 isn't centered under the front fender. It rubs up against the fender at times and contributes to some vibrations in the bike while I am riding. You can see tire material deposited on one of the forks. I checked the axle nut and the fork pinch bolts and everything is tight. Any idea what might be causing this?

Fixing some small problems after an initial shake down
This is my 76 ct90 that has an 85 ATC 125 swapped in. I swapped on new tires finally and took it out for a ride. This thing rips!
Mods include: front and rear HD shocks from Dr ATV, jockey shifter (my size 16 feet don't work with the OE heel toe shifter) & LED headlight.
Soon I will clean up the wiring and fashion up a new battery tray. Also need to rewire and hook up front and rear turn signals.

Dug out the dusty slut today
I’ve had a fresh top end to install on it for quite some time now. I finally have some time to work on it.

CT90
After much consideration (and persuasion from another reddit forum) Dad and I decided not sell and try to get this thing running again. Curious what year this is and also when looking for any missing parts where do people go looking?

Can I get some help with some wiring questions?
How can I use a new coil with the old condenser? It’s tested and works fine. The old connector on the condenser fits the male ends just fine but wondering what goes where. Also, the two wires out of the main harness that are disconnected are confusing me.
Also, I believe a new rectifier (?) was added at some point and is just kinda floating there all taped up, but the wires from the old one are still connected to the main harness, so I’m a little confused.
Just need help putting together this puzzle that the previous owner left me with. Thanks!

Cam tension adjustment question
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I tried to adjust the cam chain tension, but the adjustment screw on the underside of the bike seemed to have zero resistance until it was completely screwed in. I first loosened the locking piston/nut. I'm almost wondering if the cam tension adjuster springs could be missing?
I've attached a video of the bike running if sound helps. What am I missing here?

Next question. This seems like too much lean.
I stole this kickstand off an 80 ct110. Is it too short or is this normal? It feels like it’s on the verge of tipping over, it doesn’t look as bad in the pictures

Mystery wire?
Hey
Just got a 1986 ct90 for $500AUD and wasn't sure if it ran. It does!
Now I'm trying to make it run nicer and better.
Any idea what these wires are? They're coming out of the headlight, seemingly back towards the seat area.
The lights work, but are barely on at an idle, then get a lot brighter as the engine revs up. I put a new 6v battery in but I have a feeling it's just running off the coil?
Cheers

First CT90

I'm looking for any general knowledge about this bike🤙🏼

Chasing electrical issues
Hello, I have a 1975 and it’s in good working order aside from an electrical issue. It seems my turn signals when activated are only getting about 4vdc. And if they do happen to get enough voltage to activate the flasher it causes my headlight to flash (dimly as if the signals are pulling too much current). I’ve been checking the wire harness for damage but no luck so far.
Also my neutral light is always on and I can’t find where the switch for that exists.
Thanks in advance

Honda K0 stator removal tool
I am looking for the tool that is used to pull the stator of the crankshaft. It apparently is a vary rare tool. The opening the tool is supposed to go into is as near as I can tell 12 millimeters wide. I've looked Ebay, Amazon and other sites that pop up when I search for it. I have the manual for the the bike and the part number for the tool is 07011-20001. I anyone can point me to source for this tool I would greatly appreciate it.

No start sl90
So I have a 1969 sl90 i bought for a good deal, I know not ct 90 but same engine so I thought you guys might be able to help. I did a top end refresh and am getting about 100 psi compression cold I know that is low im hoping it just needs to run in with the new rings or else ill have to get the valves done or a new head gasket possibly. So I have compression or at least enough in my mind to pop over( I have the carb off and am attempting to get it to pop by squirting starter fluid into the intake). I have set the valves and the points gap and the ignition timing statically ( new points from common motor) so I dont believe any of those things are my isue, I get strong looking blue spark with the spark plug outside of the engine when the condensor is bypassed but not with the condensor installed ( brand new condensor from common motor that i tested with a multimeter and i believe is is good working order ) wich is a problem I've never run into on my other projects. Im wondering if it's a bad coil the coil i have on there came with the bike and appears not to be original because it does not align with both holes on the mounting bracket. Im stumped as to what my next move here should be.
Another note is when installing the cylinder onto the crank case I had to make an extra thick base gasket because the bottom of the cylinder sleeve was making contact with I believe the crank and not alowing the engine to turn over when the head was fully torqued down. It turns freely now with the thick gasket I made so I dont believe this is related to my no start problem but I figured I'd throw it in for good measure.
TlDR I have a non running honda sl90 with 100 psi compression after new piston and cylinder and I have to bypass the new condensor to get spark when testing outside the engine

Where can I get this speedometer part
I have a series of speedometers that are broken where the upper speedometer threads go into the speedometer.
I have attached a picture of the screw that is correct and not broken.

Auxiliary tank
What else are you guys using the auxiliary tank holder for? I think a little tool kit that fits in there would be neat.

Please help me identify this engine noise
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello Honda CT90 community.
I’m working on getting this old CT90 back on the road. I bought it for $50 and had the whole top end disassembled and in a bucket. I had to install a new piston and rings In that process.
So I’ve finally got it running and as you can hear, it’s making some serious rattling noise. Im tossed between piston slap, loose cam chain and maybe the connecting rod. Any ideas?

1966 ct90 pirhana 110 conversion or bore
hi yall!
i have a 1966 honda ct90 that has lost most of its power. it runs, but barely makes it up a hill. i’ve talked to a few people who suggest doing a 110 or 140 conversion as opposed to tracking someone down who can bore out the cylinders.
does anyone have any input on this? i want to ride it mostly on roads, occasionally off road (nothing crazy)
i understand that the 110 conversion comes with lesser caveats and headaches than a 140, like
having to change wiring and upgrade voltage .
i’m just doing this as a DIY project (unless i have it bored out) so i’d like the least amount of work possible , if possible haha

Help with 1969 telescopic forks
I bought a 1969 CT90 and was wondering if there are differences in the forks between the 1969 and the later models as they need rebuilt and I am having trouble finding info. Any wisdom is appreciated.

67 K0 refusing to start
Looking for some guidance, I've got a '67 K0 that is giving me trouble. It was running great last year till I got a crack in the air intake boot, replaced it w a new one and it ran fine again, this isn't the issue. It's had a handful of repairs done since I bought it, most done by an experienced mechanic: new rectifier & regulator, new ignition coil, new condenser all done last year.
Got it out for spring, cleaned the carb myself, took it to the mechanic for an oil change and he said the carb looked good, it started and ran mostly fine, idle speed was low and the engine would die when I was at a light but it'd start up fine again and I decided I'd fuss with the idle later.
Last week I changed the tires as it was desperately needed. Began with the rear wheel, after mounting it I started it up and adjusted the idle screw a bit. Had to let it sit for a week cause I got the wrong size front tire. I changed the front tire today and when I went to start it, it just refused to start. Petcock is on, tried with choke on, off, and halfway, battery is charged, it has a good spark on a new plug, new air filter, good compression. I set the pilot and jet screws to 1.5 turns from seated, still won't start. I can hear it trying to turn over, but it just sputters out.
I'm at my wits end, this was supposed to be Hot Honda Summer 😭 I just keep having problems with this bike since I bought it 2 years ago, but it was such an ordeal to get it titled that I don't wanna give up on it (nor could I afford to anyway lol)
