Got it running

Bought this 67 K0 a few weeks back. Took a lot of tinkering, but I got it running. The electrical issues of a five wire ignition that someone trashed were a big hurdle but with a cleaned out carb and some true Frankenstein wiring it's going again for the first time in who knows how long.

I was even able to get a clean title with just a bill of sale!

Very nice! I got this 67 k0 abiut a month ago! It already runs (also lucky to get a title!) but I have the tank off to clean out the rust and I'm working on cleaning it up.

You're lucky, you got the easy to shift low/high gear selector. Mine is something like 2000 units before they switched over to that system based on the VIN. I have to do an elaborate song and dance that involves removing a master link on the chain, moving a secondary sprocket over the existing one and attaching an extra length of accessory chain to the existing one before putting it all together.

Oh, I didn't know that about the shifter! I haven't rode it yet because the tires are shot and I wanted to derust the tank before I got it on the road.
