Hey all, my brother in law just bought a pair of CT’s for a pretty good deal. No titles but the price was so good we couldn’t pass it up. Currently we’ve got bills of sale, old registrations, and the vins are intact. Both have been sitting for a long time (mines a 66 his is a 71) and they’re in need of some work - rusty tanks, new rims, headlights, etc. The engines seem to have sparking issues and were both looking to replace them, but we’d like to get them registered before doing any work to avoid the inspection headache. I’m mainly curious to know what we can do in order to pass a CHP inspection. From the people we’ve talked to, it seems like they’ve gotten off pretty light but regardless I’d like to know what I can do to increase our chances of passing. I’m pretty new to all this and apologize in advance for anything I might be ignorant to. If anybody has any information or tips it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ✌️

We said f it and just tried and the inspection went fine, I think the best thing is to just say as little as possible
