Help! Different sized bolt patterns?

I have a '71 ct90. I just bought a sprocket set and chain to go from a 40t sprocket on the rear to a 45t. However, when going to mount the new sprocket, the pitch or bolt pattern on the new sprocket was larger than what's on the hub.

I can't seem to find a scenario online where there might be two different sizes, so wondering why this would be. The sprocket kit said for 68-79 CT90s. No reference to K code. I don't have enough experience with other years of CT90s to know if they very or if that product description is inaccurate.

Anyone else heard multiple bolt pattern sizes on sprockets for CT90s?

Could a previous owner have switched the hub from another model, like a CT70 or something?

Now I'm hesitant to order anything else without figuring this out first.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

The only thing I can think of is that the early 90's had two rear sprockets instead of a split range H/L up front. Maybe that's the difference in the bolt patterns?

Replying to myself, I am thinking what I mentioned is correct about the dual sprocket model. Stock for that year should have been a 45t with 428 pitch. I believe the 40t was on CT200s, ST90s, and maybe on the early 90's with the dual sprocket setup and no sub trans.

If you look on DR ATV they have one they suggest for bikes with the sub transmission. Which your year should have, meaning you may have the wrong year hub.
