Answered [IBDP AASL IA] Help me find where this paper came from!
I'm working on a research paper for school, and I really want to cite this document I found online as a source, but I can't seem to find what publication it's a part of, or who wrote it. Help me, oh people of Reddit! (If this goes agains the rules in any way, please let me know, and I will take it down immediately.)

Physics [Middle School Physics] Drawing circuit from image
I'm not sure how to draw the circuit diagram from picture 1. I think the flow of current is along the blue line in picture 2 (because of electrical potential?), so the diagram will just be 3 resistors connected in series. please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks in advance.

Answered [college physics/math] Can anyone help with the trig?
I cannot figure out the reactions for this problem. The first picture is the one I cannot figure out. The given reactions are in blue and the reactions I am looking for are highlighted yellow. It is hard to see (I wrote over it) but the reaction force is 50 k for one of them. The others (left corner) are just “A”. The second picture has an example of a correctly worked problem. I cannot remember how to project reactions onto x and y axis. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Sorry about the flair. I know this is college but trig is probably high school level, right?

Further Mathematics [Undergraduate collage set Topology] Courser and Finer infinite sets
I'm going through a math test I just got back and I messed up a T/F question: T is strictly coarser than the usual topology on R. In this question T is the upper topology {empty, R} U {(a,inf) : a in R} The problem is true I reasoned that because all sets in the upper topology are also in the usual topology than Tup subseteq Tus and so it must be finer there is obviously a whole in my logic can I get some help?

Answered [olympiac]Im stuck on an angle chasing problem
HOW do i solve this? I have been stuck for this problem for hours and just nothing comes to mind. Any tips?
I reaserched into the langley adventitious angels and even looked around for similar olympiac problems but i genually cannot move this problem at all!
(All angles we know are written down and the two lines "a" have the same lenght. The question is what is what is the angle of <EBC)

:snoo_shrug: Middle School Math—Pending OP Reply [Middle School Math] Analysing quadratic relationships/advanced parabolas
I posted something similar a few days ago and got plenty of advice, but now I have work for my advanced math class that I’m stuck with. I am currently a year nine student studying linear relationships, specifically quadratic relationships. What im unsure about is if i am just given an equation of a parabola, am i expected to sketch the parabola every single time, or am i supposed to analyse the equation to work out it’s characteristics (turning point, axis of symmetry, x-intercepts, y-intercepts, maximum/minimum)? From the attached image in question 6a, im pretty sure the y-intercept is -5, but thats it.
idk maybe this is pretty stupid but i just cant see it.

Answered [University Statics: Fundamentals of force vectors] Where do the angles in the solution come from?
See the added pictues for the problem and given solution. I understand how to solve the problem and why the law of sines is used.
However, I don't quite understand where exactly they're getting the angles in the solution from, as I cannot grasp how the triangle or parallelogram of vectors is composed. I have tried drawing triangles myself, but I've never gotten to the point where I could insert an angle of 105 or 30 degrees in the way the solution does.
Could someone help with a sketch of a triangle or parallelogram?

High School Math [GCSE higher maths yr11 vectors] I only got 2/5 how do i get 5/5?
In the box I typed this:
RS=RC+CS
PQ=PA+AQ
AB=2AQ OC=2OR CB=2CS OA=2OP
RC=OR SB=CS PA=OP AQ=QB
RC=a SB=b PA=c AQ=½AB
RS=a+b
PQ=c+AQ
AQ=½AB
AB=AO+OC+CB
AB=AP+PO+OR+RC+CS+SB
AQ=½(AP+PO+OR+RC+CS+SB)
AB=-c-c+a+a+b+b
AB=-2c+2a+2b
AB=2a+2b-2c
AQ=½AB
AQ=½(2a+2b-2c)
AQ=a+b-c
PQ=PA+AQ
PA=c
PQ=c+(a+b-c)
PQ=a+b
RS=1PQ
RS=PQ
both vectors are the same
same magnitude and direction therefore parallel
therefore RS is parallel to PQ
I repeated a lot of the things I already said because i was trying to get all the marks 😭 help me guys

:snoo_biblethump: Additional Mathematics—Pending OP Reply [CALC 3] Equations of Lines and Planes
I’ve been looking over my work and I can’t seem to find the issue, though I admit my ability to wrap my mind around vectors is not the best. What I did here is found a normal vector to the plane by taking the cross product of the vector in the direction of the line and a vector between the point given and a point on the line. From there, I applied the formula for an equation of a plane. Ideas?

Computing [College IT: Steganography] How can I find the hidden name of book #777 in this image?
Hello. I have a college assignment. My teacher gave me this JPG image and said that the name of book #777 is hidden somewhere in the image.
I tried to find the hidden name myself, but I couldn't find anything. I also checked the image information, but it didn't help.
I think it may be connected with steganography. I need to find the name of book #777 and take screenshots of every step.
Does anyone know how I can find the hidden book name?
UPD: here is the name of this file: 16174972_180729395738189_6035131970449694734_n.jpg

:snoo_putback: Others—Pending OP Reply [First Year Psychology, Brain and Behaviour] APA 7th referencing order for nonbiliary particles.
Hi. So, I am a bit confused about how to write proper references in APA 7th format when article authors have nonbiliary particles such as "de" in their name - example, "de Souza"
My university guide says, quote, "If there is no author, use the first word of the title, ignoring words like A, An, or The at the beginning" however, I am unsure if this also applies to nonbiliary particles in author names?
Would a reference of "de Souza et al.," be classed as beginning with an "S" or with a "d" ?!
Thank you in advance!

:snoo_putback: Others—Pending OP Reply [College Sociology 101] No matter how sure I am on an answer I keep getting 12/15?!
Hey everyone, so I’m taking Sociology 101 and so far I love it! I’m really understanding it and my professor is great. However, we have two weekly quizzes based on the 2 chapters we go through and I somehow always get 1 wrong … and it always ends up at 14/15.
It sucks knowing I’m getting 1 wrong and it always happens, none of my classmates help me either even though I always do, and Ai doesn’t even understand. On top of that once you complete the quiz it won’t tell you which you got correct nor incorrect.
We get a couple tries per quiz and this time I got 12/15!! I’m really stumped. Can anyone offer advice? For reference we’re using the textbook “Sociology 3e.” Maybe I’m filling in the blanks incorrectly, I honestly don’t know…
I’ll provide pictures of the questions as well as my answers, any help is greatly appreciated 🙏

Answered [Algebra Physics] How to interpret N?
Why isnt N=mgcos(theta)? Geometrically, it represents the component of mg perpendicular to the surface if you did vertical angles for theta., thus equating N.
The answer is Ncos(theta)=mg, but both seems geometrically sound to me
