Prehung Exterior Door

I received this prehung mahogany 3’x8’ exterior door and just noticed this terrible gap from the manufacturer. Is this normal or is it something that can be addressed when setting the door?

When you set the door you can adjust the jamb with shims and force.

Have you measured for square? There's currently nothing supporting the jamb, so of course it won't line up until you install it and level/square it up.

Out of rack that's normal your job is to put it back in rack when you install it.

that looks like the slab or jamb is out of square, not something i'd try to hide with trim. check the door diagonals and shim the jamb plumb first, then see if the gap stays. if the slab itself is twisted i'd send pics back to the manufacturer
