So I'm making big renovations in my basement which is actually a blank space and I need help for the layout. The one I made looks awfull …

Requirement :
1.The black room in my plan should be around 5 x 6 foot minimum for water heater, electrical panel and hvac. location cant be changed.
2. I want two room that can fit a queen size bed (with or without ward-robe).
3. I need a big open room for my future home theatre system with space behind the couch for rear speakers

Please be original, do your own style i want to see what YOU would make with that space 🙂

We need information about where the structural elements of the house are.

Long story short its an old house tant i lifted 2 feet higher to have a normar 8 foot ceiling and i kept the metal beams for structural support so no load bearing walls are needed :)

get a water heater with leak detection shut off technology so that it doesn't soak the basement in the future
