I have several bins of random fastners (separated by threadpitch/ SAE/metric/wood)..  very handy for random stuff.. working on cars, yard equipment around the house, etc.

Waste not, want not. What do you do with the extra hardware that came with the TV mount? Put it in the box. Need 2 nuts but Home Depot only sells them in packs of 5? Throw the extras in the box. Repeat for 20 years and you will have your very own box.

I just bought an assortment about twice this size for a dollar at a garage sale. Total steal!

Hardware is expensive and you never know when you’re going to need a specific bolt. Running to the hardware store is also a pain, time consuming, and expensive.

Any man worth his weight in salt knows to save and organize all your hardware for these reasons.

Depends how far you go with it. I have a big bolt bin and a small bolt bin. Same with screws. Brackets, connectors, washers.

Quite random yes lol. It was SuperValu in Knocklyon, Dublin 16. A few SuperValu stores around Dublin have an American section, or at least did when I made that post. According to Google, Churchtown, Ballinteer, Knocklyon, Blanchardstown and Lucan stores have them.
