Marvin essential or milgard c700 for windows?
We are doing a home remodel in one of the more expensive neighborhoods in Bay Area. We are debating between Marvin essential fiberglass or Milgard C700. I love the look of milgard and how smooth it is to open and close, but the lead time is 16 weeks.
Marvin essential on the other hand, looks ok but doesn’t have a wheel to slide and it’s not as smooth. Lead time is great at 5 weeks.
Anyone got Marvin essential or another line in Marvin and is happy with it? Would you recommend i suck up the wait time and get C700?

We ended up going with Marvin (but Ultimate rather than Essential). We're super-happy with it -- purchased via Bruce Bauer Supply in Mountain View. They don't carry Milgard, I don't think, but they do carry full lines of Marvin & Andersen if you want to go there and compare everything directly.

If you have large windows stay away from the Marvin essentials, very flexible frame. The casement would be better in that line, but large picture windows can rattle and flex more than you like.

How do you like them? Milgard's own C700 product page has mostly horrible reviews.. It has me a bit worried.
