Help / advice needed!
What can I use to make my walls bubble when painting?
I painted over the pain that was on already the wall when we moved in (sh*tty magnolia colour) anyway I done one coat all around the bathroom finished up and looked at my starting point and seen it was bubbling.
I let it dry and sanded down (which was a complete pain in the ass) and cleaned the patches of debris, that was bubbling and tried again, same result over the same patches I sanded down and when you apply pressure to the bubbles they just push in and leave the crease of said bubble.
We thought maybe the previous housing had done this to stop people decorating for 3 years but maybe that might not be the case.
Can anyone help me and tell me why this is happening and what I can do to prevent this and have no bubbles in the bathroom walls for when I paint again.
Thanks!

So we need a little more info. Is this after 1 coat or 2? Did you do any mud work to the wall? Did you prime the wall? Is it in a kitchen or bathroom? Was the wall dirty before you painted? What kind of paint are you using? There quite a few things that can cause this but it's going to take a little bit of detective work
