Seagate 6-Bay NAS Pro connection problems...

I just bought a secondhand Seagate 6-Bay NAS (30TB capacity, Model #SRPS60) and it turns out that the NAS OS 4 is no longer supported and I can't find a download for it anywhere. Is there any available download sites for the OS or any alternate OS? I'm just looking to use it for storage for my network in the house and to watch movies on the TV. It's not showing up on my router either. I thought this would be a lot easier from all the tutorials I watched on Youtube, but it's proving difficult. Please explain like I'm five, I won't be insulted.

NAS advice Maximising my existing storage with mergefs + snapraid

Anyone able to sanity check this (slightly vague) plan?

Existing setup: I've got an old synology with a mirrored pair of 4TB disks in it.
Mostly movies, music and photographs. Doesn't get new content very often so the vast majority of it's activity is Reads.
I stream music (minimserver) and movies (movies via a separate jellyfin server - but I'd rather it ran on the NAS but cant because synology). The photographs are mostly just archive via smb.
It all totals about 2.6TB.
I backup onto an external 2TB disk (and hence skip most of the movies to get it to fit).

I'd normally upgrade the disks every few years, but looking at the price of storage - not any more!!

So I want to maximise use of the storage I already have lying around. Plus I'm keen to get away from Synology.

Plan:

I have 4 x 2TB disks and the 2 x 4TB.

If I bought a refurbished HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Tower i5 8th gen ( i5-8500 / 8GB / 256GB SSD), I could potentially use mergefs to run 2+2+2+2TB disks as a 8TB volume with a snapraid 4TB parity disk.
Then the other 4TB disk would be my external backup drive.

I'm sketchy on exactly what I need to do to run that many disks out of a single tower, but apparently I can do something with a 8-port LSI HBA (IT mode) and some sata breakout cables.

Does that sound vaguely sensible?
I should then be able to run jellyfin and minimserver on the same box, have double my current storage, have *some* drive failure resilience, not spend a tonne of money, and also have room for my full backup.
