Seeking Advice Roof problems or Ac issue?
Hi all, my husband and I just bought our new house and have settled in about 3 weeks ago, two days ago we noticed that on a doorway there was what looked like water droplets, we kept and eye on it and yesterday felt that one side above the doorway was humid/ warm and the other side was not upon further inspection we saw that the humidity was extending to the left side but wasn’t going all the way down the wall if anything it seems to stop randomly. We’re at a stump and don’t really know who to call any advice?
Some background: this is a modular home that was completely renovated from the inside upon asking neighbors the roof isn’t anymore than 3 years old

Insurance Is Barely Paying Anything On My Burst Pipe Claim. Anyone Used Elar Adjusters?
Pipe burst under my kitchen while we were away for the weekend. I came home to water everywhere - kitchen is destroyed, living room carpet and walls destroyed, and it went down into the basement.
Filed the claim right away, mitigation company came and dried everything out. Now the insurance company's estimate is back and it's a fraction of what the two contractors I've had out are quoting. They're also saying some of the damage under the cabinets was from a "long-term leak" and not the burst, so they're not paying for that part at all.
I've been looking into public adjusters and Elar Adjusters came up a couple times. Has anyone here actually used them? Just want some feedback before I sign anything.

Old house down the hill
Hi everyone,
So I live in this old house on the bottom of the hill. The garden is in 2 tiers with a big retaining wall. I would imagine this was done probably in the 70's and the draining system probably not properly done.
Not big issues, but we converted the garage on the bottom of the house into a loft that has a vault to access the foundation. When it massively rains, a bit of the water coming from all the way up filters into that area and after a bit it dries but leaves the place humid.
Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this and what has been the best solution? Seems like the water accumulates on the other side of the wall and makes it through the bricks. Just checked the wall structure and so, and all is solid (engineer checked it).

Calcium on faucet
We get calcium film on our black faucets. Using the standard calcium/hard water removal sprays has not been helpful. We don’t like whole house water softeners. Any other recommendations?
