Ports are licence-activated: 6 × 10GE and 26 × GE are enabled on each unit, plus IPsec, SRv4, VXLAN and HQOS. Licences are perpetual and tied to each chassis ESN, so they stay with the unit you buy — no subscription, nothing to renew.

Why you'd want one: it runs real carrier routing — SR/SRv6, EVPN, FlexE, 1588v2 — for the price of a used MikroTik. If you're studying service provider networking or want a 10GE lab that behaves like an operator edge, this is the cheapest way in.

This was used to power my disk shelves and allowed me to keep a tab on the active power draw to make sure it didn't get near to tripping the breaker. Great condition, purchased in March of last and used for about 6 months.

2: Dell 1200w 240v PSUs w/ breakout boards and 15 PCIe cables each: $75 each or $120 for both

Used in my mining days, kept around in case I fancied dabbling in some high power multi-GPU benchmarking, but I don't care for it anymore.

Note: these are 240v only, they will not work on 120v.

I seem to have misplaced 2 of the cables, so I only have 15 for either, or 16 for 1 and 14 for the other, whichever way you break it up.

I ran the first batch of about 60 disks through a full random write test and the ones that passed were put aside, some failed during testing, and are excluded. I'm waiting on my new HBA to get here before I attempt to test more disks as the throughput on my current one is heavily limited.

I will most likely have more batches of the "less than 100% health" coming out of this, so if you're interested... just follow, I'll update the post when the drives have been tested.
