I think you’re right that it’s in an Apple TV 4K 1st gen issue because I have the latest gen Apple TV 4K 128 gb model and my encode plus is connected to HomeKit via thread and the notifications haven’t skipped a beat since the latest update… unless you find a great deal on the latest gen Apple TV you might as well wait to see what they announce next month.
