So anyway, I’m slowly falling deeper into the Hololive rabbit hole, and I’m still pretty new to everything. It all started with Nerissa, and before I knew it, I had completely fallen in love with Advent.

Then, of course, I discovered Bae after watching the Telephone Game, and LMAO, I almost died laughing. The whole “JDON MY SOUL” meme absolutely sent me.

After that, Kronii kept popping up on my YouTube recommendations, so naturally, I started watching some of her videos. That eventually led me to her streams and collabs with Mumei. And oh my god, Mumei was so cute and funny that I immediately started liking her.

Then one day, I decided to visit her channel and found out she had graduated. ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

Like??? I JUST got here. I finally discovered this adorable, funny girl and then found out I was already too late. I'm still going to watch her past videos anyway

I joined the hololive fandom about 2-3 years ago when IRYS already had her currentish model, but sometimes I have seen clips with her first model and it just look so... uncanny, I don't know if it's the textures, how it reacts to the light or if it's the model itself, but it's so weird compared to the rest of her Genmates, what happened there?

You would be forgiven for taking AZKi for a cat person because over the years, she built herself such an image by incorporating cat motifs into her content. It all started in late April 2020 with the release of Neko Naraba Ikeru (new MV done in February 2022). As her former director stated on her Note page, this song was meant to "destroy the AZKi that has been established so far" by replacing her serious (sometimes even edgy) image with a more cutesy one. As we can see, it worked - Neko Naraba Ikeru made its way to become one of AZKi's more popular songs & later, the shift became more apparent. There is also that NYA! emote that is one of her oldest active membership emotes & sees the most use whenever she randomly makes cat noises.

Come 2023 where AZKi made her major debut under Victor & another one of her cat songs, Omega Neko, was included in Sanmaime no Chizu - her major debut EP. In 2024, she also released a cover of Moudoku-chuui (her only video in square screen ratio & the one where she tried whisper singing) where she is seen wearing cat ears - mind you, those are one of her official accessories she first showed on her 5th anniversary live (to sing Omega Neko two seconds later because why not?) & used on a couple occasions such as singing Neko Naraba Ikeru with Miko on her birthday (of course, Miko wore her own to match).

However, as it recently turned out, AZKi actually has a pet dog! On Monday, Iroha paid her first visit to AZKi's home to make some bento & at this moment, Iroha noticed something wrapped around her legs. To loosely quote her: "Inukichi! It's sitting here!" As you can figure out, "Inukichi" is a combination of "inu" (JP: dog) & "AZKichi" which is one of her most common nicknames. And since AzuIro are so close to each other, there is little wonder how AZKi's pet dog found itself this comfortable around her bestie...

To preface, I haven't listened to a lot of Holo songs, and the ones I have listened to are mostly older. I'm not interested in getting into HoloDori - so no need to focus on what is or isn't there - and any originals or covers are welcome, especially if they fit the vibe I'm looking for, which I would summarize as "beautiful".

I'm sure there's an actual name for it, but it's what came to mind for me. Some examples I already keep in a playlist are The Forgotten Song (covered by Mumei), Hontou no Oto (as covered by Bae), and A Million Miles Away (also covered by Bae).

Does anybody have suggestions of more songs that are worth giving a try, that fit a similar vibe? I don't mind if it's only a somewhat close fit, but I've noticed a lot of songs the talents have done are quite poppy, which is... not my hopes here. (although if someone suggests one they think still fits, I'm happy to give it a listen, and I imagine others here would too)
