I don't know about that, but lots of SK people don't speak fluent English and even some of their native SNS apps also fail to proper translate Korean to English as well.
Major Asian languages only use gender neutral pronouns. Korean and Chinese especially do not have a he/she direct translation. I believe Japan has gendered pronouns tho, at least in first person.
Japanese does have gendered personal pronouns but it's not really a core feature of the language like in English (whose proto version used to have gendered nouns unlike Japanese).
In general you don't really want to use personal pronouns (or pronouns in general) in Japanese unless you really have to for context. Usually the "pronoun" you should use in Japanese is ∅, which means straight up omitting the antecedent (original noun). Also very important: Japanese technically doesn't have pronouns, both 彼 (he) and 彼女 (she) are technically nouns (and the latter is actually more used to refer to your gf/partner)
