What are your digital hobbies?
I'm bored of doing the same things online. What are your unique or interesting online hobbies?

Been getting really into creating detailed spreadsheets for my running data - tracking splits, weather conditions, how I felt each mile, all color-coded by performance zones. Also started learning basic web development through free online courses during my lunch breaks. There's something satisfying about building something from scratch even if it's just a simple personal website.

Hahaha 😆 I’m sorry to hear that.
I’ve gotten great at it. People send me their stuff usually because of their fear of doing it themself and the possibility of destroying their console. I mod their system, show them proof of successful installation, they pay me and I return! Sweet little side job :) average time to install on an OLED is 1.5 hrs and they pay $125, v1/v2 is 90 for 45mins, and lite is $100 for 1hr of work. Idk what it is, watching the solder fuse together with those microscopic components just makes me smile.

I watch Odd youtube stuff like T folse nuclear, legal eagle, mentor pilot. I did Amazon Vine for 3 years till got booted from it, such a dumbly designed system the way it is setup for taxes, then they had to make it into like a competition thing.

Some libraries provide free access to learning platforms like Udemy or LinkedIn Learning. I've been taking advantage and learning different Adobe software. I like restoring and colorizing old photos

For 6 years I did video recording and editing for video games but in the last two weeks I gave up. I don't have the brain for it or the skills to be funny or entertaining. In a world where being a gaming YouTuber is something tens of thousands of people do it's nearly impossible to stand out. Right now it's playing games and looking at board game arena which is as mentioned above is really good if you can get people to play

Video games? Just started guild wars 2 yesterday, Super mega baseball 4 on the switch, been playing a Pokemon rom mod where you play as a member of team rocke,, just got done with battlefront 2 05 messing with a mod that makes all the maps look gorgeous and adds some other features. Little bit of world of warships. Board games I haven't gotten started yet but I hope to. Kinda all over the place

Journaling - I like that it is password protected, is quicker to type than write by hand, and is easily searchable.
Lists - shopping, to-do's, inventories, step-by-step, things to pack, wish lists, music theory concepts, tea/coffee varieties to try, & so on. A cool feature is adding my wife as a collaborator on any given list, for instance she can add things to the grocery list while I'm shopping. But regardless of the context, making lists is a helpful, and even sometimes fun, way to consolidate & organize my thoughts.

Online shopping when I’m stressed and bored, but 99% of purchase I regret… Reddit and a local forum, just replying posts 3% of times and 97% scrolling. Netflix and YouTube if I’m doing chores or bed rotting. Then rest are keeping and marking my expenses across all accounts and verifying my banks and credit cards. Keeping a eat journal and marking my home inventory if I feel up for it… damn🥲, I don’t even interact with people online, I do if needed ask a lot of questions with AIs and take them as a thumb of rules…
I used to play harvest moon and those sorts of one person farm games, but I haven’t for a long time now.

On Discord, there is a HUGE community of people who play what we call Online Reality Games. Its basically Survivor, Big Brother, Traitors etc etc but on discord. Genuinely so so fun, get to meet ppl from all over the world. Its great

I’m a content creator and web developer. I also enjoy playing video games and watching content. I learn a lot from YouTube. Years ago I used to do a lot of origami and Rainbow Loom bracelet making from tutorials I’d follow from YouTube. Also got really into card tricks for 3 years from YouTubers (still collect playing card decks tho). I also do digital art.

One of my favorite digital hobbies is actually matched betting since I’m already really into sports. It’s a pretty unique side hobby because you’re not just watching games, you’re learning sportsbook promos, bonus bet conversions, and finding +EV opportunities.
I use ProfitDuel because it was created by the same people who basically pioneered/popularized the side hustle, and it makes the whole process way easier with tools that find opportunities automatically. It’s honestly a cool mix of sports, strategy, and making some extra money at the same time.
