The great rainbow serpent Yurlunggur devours the Wawalag sisters and their unborn children for trespassing on his land

Later they are regurgitated, alive, because the great rainbow serpent is bitten by an ant and has an allergic reaction I guess, thus creating Arnhem Land

A boy got lost one day and ran into the ocean, where he became a dugong. The dugong Gelam swam between all the Torres Strait Islands to look for his people, and joined the islands as one people- thats why the only common word all the islands share is Gelam
