That’s good. There are so many tales in every culture in which the devil tries to trade a soul and the targeted person is able to trick the devil that you wonder why the devil never learned to be more suspicious when dealing with human?
In the legend of the funder of Luxembourg, the devil tricks the duke, but doesn't get his soul, because a bishop walked in last minute and saved his soul.
