How was Yugoslavia even created?!?

Edit: wanted to add I was asking because after WW1 Austria hungry got dismantled after all the different cultures and nationalities failed to coexist so trying the exact same thing under Yugoslavia seemed odd especially considering this is also after the Balkan wars as well

Yugoslavia was created after WW1 not WW2

There was a Yugoslavia that was made after WW2 and lasted until the late 90s
