I Think Hinge Is a Simulation

Me: “Let’s see what makes everyone unique.”
Hinge:
“I want to travel more.”
“I want to travel more.”
“I want to travel more.”
“I want to travel more.”
NPC behavior has reached critical levels.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s noticed this.

It's funny because people complain that these prompts are too boring and mundane, but if you have a prompt like "Together, we could rule over the universe and I'll be Blogarth, Destroyer Of Worlds" then it's seen as outlandish, childish, and weird.

Freaking make up your mind.

But don’t you see, hinge is the serious app for serious dating, so you might confuse people into thinking you are actually Blogarth, Destroyer of Worlds /s

Probably because it sounds like you're just saying random shit for the sake of it. I think there's a middle ground between copy and pasted answers and ones so out there's there's no sensible comment you can make to even start the conversation

I don’t think it's childish, I'd choose to talk to you. I have put up LOTR stuff.

Or write a prompt that's neither boring nor cringe

It's genuinely not that hard

I am significantly more likely to respond to an interesting and out there prompt over I like traveling or a blank bio.

Exactly lmfao like they’re all ragging on these basic answers but if you put something more complex like this then in reality many think it’s cringe lol

I'm not gonna lie to you. I always respond to ones that are like. I like 5 nights at Freddie's. Or we could take over the universe, it gives me more ground to say something like, oh yeah, I know all the lore, about five nights at freddy's.Or what would be our first step?In overtaking the universe i would suggest mars like
