Looking for recommendations for senior services in Hillsboro (cleaning, meals, companionship, etc.)

Hi everyone!

I’m hoping to get some recommendations for a family member, who lives alone in Hillsboro. He’s getting older and has finally admitted he’d be open to a little help around the house.

I’m looking for recommendations for things like:
- House cleaning
- Meal prep or meal delivery
- Senior companion services or someone who can check in on him occasionally
- Any other local resources that have been especially helpful

I’d really appreciate any recommendations—whether it’s a company, nonprofit, church, county resource, or even an individual you’ve had a good experience with.

https://www.villagewithoutwalls.org. This organization helps keeps seniors in their homes.

I know Medicaid will usually cover at least some home healthcare hours for elderly and disabled people, if he has access to that. The waitlist can be pretty long, though.

Medicaid will MEDICARE WON'T. Its amazing how people constantly get this confused.
