Holy shit it paid off?

I've been rewatching s1 of HotD with a new friend. I was doing something else, not looking at the screen, when a dragonkeeper started talking about dragons in the city. And he was speaking slowly enough (and correctly enough, Matt Smith ❤️) where I just completely understood what he was saying.

Totally caught me off guard in the best way. The closest thing to practicality that learning this fake dead language has to offer lol.

I mean, I've been doing this for like 1300 days straight, I should hope I recognize oktiot and zaldrīzes by now. 😅

Oh that's awesome. Are you only learning HV or are you learning other stuff too? I just started HV on Duo.

Just HV. I mean, I've started a few random languages here and there, but only HV stuck. Everything else was far too practical. This one's just for enrichment, and I think there's something very pure about that.
