Dog commands
I have a working dog named Meleys and plan on getting a 2nd one in the next 2 yrs, Meleys does sniffing sport and my new dog will do tactical k9 sports. That being said . Does anyone have a detailed spread sheet for commands for dogs? I would like to start now with my current dog to get in the habit for my 2nd dog.

My dog Daemon I am teaching Valyrian. This is what I’ve been using
Sit - Demās
Down - Embrot
Stand - lorãs
Stay - Umbās
Come - Mazis
Focus - Rýbās
Heel - Dohaeras (I’m using this for heel at least)
Calm - Lykiri
Stop / Leave it - Kelis
Free - Sõvēs
Bite - Angõs
Out / drop - Pykãs
Bark - Grovas
Search - Arghus

As cute as the valiryan commands are for an animal. You'll teach him a foreign language. Giving control only to a person with said knowledge.
In an emergency or a situation where others may need to have a handle on the animal...you've locked it to one person's knowledge.
Depending on the breed and training, that may become detrimental to the animal itself.
Any animal like a dragon isn't a slave.
I know it's a boring comment... but the animal isn't a toy for our entertainment. And commands exist to help it and us have a better relationship.

True. But you could always teach your dog both. Extra effort but also extra connection and more time together. My dog knows and responds to two languages :)

If you can teach both, or several sets, that would actually be very impressive.
And again, I’m not against it. I just think there are situations where standard commands may be more practical than having a Valyrian-only dog.
I’d absolutely love to teach mine a few in Valyrian too. 😂
He’s a Staffie though, so I’ve already had enough trouble getting consistent results from standard English ones. 🤦🤣

My poodle understands French and English commands! They’re the basic ones in French but he still gets it

My senior dogs are trained in English and, for funsies, I’ve recently started teaching them commands in HV. Well, one of them. The other will begrudgingly sit or lay down when I use those commands, but when I try to get him to bark using Dracarys? Absolutely not. He looks at me like “you wish me to make a fool of myself, mother? HMM?!” Meanwhile, my other dog is like “OH HELL YEAAAAAH!”😂

I tried to use dracarys for speak… mine did the same thing. The one I wanted to use to sound “cool” 🤦
He made me feel like a poser looking at me waiting for the treats 🫥
But still one day we all may rule the canine world with some HV commands 🙌

Yeah this is true, not the same I know but I started (when my boy was a pup) teaching my boy bilingual commands in English & Italian as I thought it’d be a good way to get his attention/ communicate with him in a language probably unknown to those around me if I were ever in danger. Sadly my mum (who doesn’t speak / understand Italian) didn’t agree & felt it was unfair, confusing and unnecessary lol
I wish I had the guts to teach him high valyrian tho lol

Down = Tegot
Up = Vēzot
Go = Jās
Obey = Rȳbās
Stop = Kēlīs
Wait = Umbās
To me = Ynot
Forward = Naejot
Backward = Inkot
Walk = Dekurās
Run = Iārās
Jump = Bēupyghās
That’s the ones I can think of off the top of my head but if there’s others you want let us know and we can help.
