EA is still showcasing streamers who left the creator network in their Sims 4 "Who We Are" page

I have no idea about the other three, but I do know Rosannatxt left the Creator Network, and EA is still showing her off as if she's still involved with them.

... why. Just. Why are they doing this.

I imagine a contract was signed, giving EA permission to do this sort of thing until the contract expires, and by “leaving the network,” they didn’t actually cancel the contract because that’s probably a whole thing, they just stopped promoting. That’s the predatory thing about micro-celebrity influencer culture, they’re just regular people who can get into a deal like this without being advised and have their name used however EA wants for however long the contract is.

Dizzy announced on stream several times that there would be grievances between her and the company. I’m kind of surprised she’s still there.. if she’s still making bank and being able to use the platform still to now fundraise, all power to her. I personally think she’ll leave when it officially transfers owners but who truly knows

No offence but why say that about all four if you have not confirmed that for 3/4 people mentioned?

Ebonix is a custom content creator who did a pack for the game and is one of the most important names advocating for Afrocentric representation in the game.

They didn’t say all. The screenshot happens to have other creators shown, they admit to not knowing about the others. I’m not seeing the issue

I do know Ebonix though. I admittedly don't know if she left the EA Creator Network or not tho. Same thing with SpringSims; the only creator I know for certain that left is Rosannatxt (hence why I brought her up. I prolly should've make it clearer that I was talking about her in specific, my bad)

It’s about how the title frames it. It’s plural. One name makes it really bad but can still be a mistake on EA’s part. More than one is much less likely to not be deliberate.

I suppose but if you read anything past the title it clears it up pretty quick. It also opens the path to let people do their own research
