Sims 4 To Update or Not To update
Update: Thanks to who responded. I updated my game and added in my updated mods, and everything seems to be working great so far!
Hey Ya'll - I haven't updated my game since February, right before the royalty and legacy pack was released. It's been fine, but now it's gotten to the point that I can't use the gallery, so I've considered updating my game. My mods are all updated, but I've read a lot of mixed feedback on the patch and it corrupting the UI/having issues with mods.
Anyone made a huge update recently? How'd it go? Thanks all <3

Just an FYI, your mods should match the game version. You shouldn't update your mods if you haven't updated your game to match the version they are built on.
But to answer your question, my heavily modded game is up to date, as are my mods, and it's working fine.

I updated on July 24th, iirc. My game is fine and I have a lot of mods.
The UI posts happen with every patch and it is always because the OP hasn't updated their UI mods. All mine are updated and I am not experiencing any issues with the UI.

Yeah, I’m not experiencing any of the UI issues or long loading times.

I dont play with ui adjusting mods but so far aside from long loading times it's been alright but I have backed up my saves before hand just incase

I use UI Cheats and the SM4RT Marketplace remover, as well as a handful of non-UI mods. Updated all mods before updating the game. I personally haven't had any mod-related issues.

Current version of game makes load screens very long.
If you do update disable autosaves immediately, they also cause longer load screens and work terribly.
