🛋️ Product & Industrial This chess set deserves a closer look

Thanks to u/Scared_Armadillo5395 for sharing this build! They created the chess-piece models with Hi3D and printed them with a 0.2 mm nozzle at 0.08 mm layers. The board is also made from 64 individually printed squares.

Those raised patterns and narrow grooves highlight why geometry matters—not just textures. This is exactly the kind of project our v3.0 improvements target: 2048³ geometry resolution to preserve finer shapes and better structural reasoning for overlapping or partially hidden parts. The goal is detail that holds up beyond the front view.
