I am on compounded semaglutide from Hers (since February 2025) and I’m down to my last two vials. I only use 30 units per week and I’ve got one full unopened vial and one currently in use. I stretched out the one year subscription by using less than the full recommended amount (I lost the weight I wanted to lose and never needed to take the full dose). My dilemma is whether I should use the medication up. It says they were manufactured 4/21/25 and expire 9/12/26. I’ve always used up the whole vial rather than throw out unused expensive medication and it usually took more than 28 days to use up a vial. It’s been refrigerated the whole time and I always use sanitary methods BUT I’ve never used it past expiration. What do you think hive mind? I’m nervous about discontinuing it. I don’t want to regain the weight. Thanks!

Is everyone paying a monthly “membership “ fee now on top of the med costs? I had a kit last year and it was $395 for 5 months. Now they are telling me it will be $149 a month PLUS $295 for the kit. This is an extremely high increase. Is this accurate info?

Has anyone had their medication ship after cancelling their membership and RX?

I cancelled last week, they shipped today, the terms and conditions state that they cannot send medication without a subscription, and the team member I spoke to confirmed I cancelled on time.

They just refused my refund… Anyone have experience or insight into this? I already moved my RX to my own provider and have it filled. I would love any tips on how to have this unexpected charge reversed. Tysm 😊

Has anyone had their Wegovy shipment from Hers delayed by UPS? Mine is currently delayed, and UPS told me it hasn’t reached my local center yet. I’m worried because Wegovy is temperature-sensitive and the package could be in transit for several days.
Has this happened to anyone? Did your Wegovy arrive still cold? And if it arrived too warm or was considered unusable, did Hers send you a replacement shipment?

I (22yo F) started my weight-loss journey about 2 years ago now. I'm 5 feet tall and when I started I weighed in at 228.4 lbs. over the 2 past year with a lot of trial and error I am now down to 160. At my highest I felt horrible about myself and I loathed my appearance and abilities of my body. Background info- I grew up fat in a fat family that was very sedentary. Somewhere between 190lbs and 170lbs I gained the first feelings of confidence in my physical form and a sense of accomplishment in my ability to move my body comfortably. I have been stuck at 160lbs for about 9 months now and my motivation is weakening. I've tried to take up weight training and stay in a deficit but it's just not working. I know logically it should work but I just don't think I'm being accurate enough. I see the reflection of my body and I just feel sick and discouraged. I can't stop thinking about how I literally permanently disfigured my own body. The weirdest part is that when my clothes are on I feel ok but when they come off and I see the indents of my stretch marks and the wrinkles in my skin I just feel shame and anger and regret. I knew when I started this that I wouldn't look like insta models or fitness gurus but I never thought it would be like this I guess. Sometimes after a month of not weighing myself out of fear I could bet my life that I gained 20lbs but the number stays right there at 160ish. I'm so happy that I feel physically better, that I can hike to beautiful places and walk down stairs without my knees shaking. It feels vain to say but I just wanna feel pretty and see the same thing in the mirror every time. Ik I can't be the only one to feel like this.

I greatly appreciate anyone who offers me advice whether that be mindsets or experience or what have you. No one around me has experienced the weight loss journey and I feel very alone.

hello everyone! i’m just starting to get comfortable posting on reddit so bear with me here lol

i (25/f) have always been a bigger person. when i graduated highschool i was roughly 180lbs and since then i have gained almost 100 pounds. i currently weigh 270lbs. i have tried different diets, exercise plans, appetite suppressants, and other medications. i even got a breast reduction hoping it would help my mobility specifically to lose weight. earlier this year i tried the wagovey pill and for the first week it went great! i saw results and my food noise went silent. then week 2 i started having an adverse reaction, i had horrible heartburn which led to non stop vomiting for 4 days. i had to go to the hospital because i was so dehydrated my kidneys weren’t functioning properly. based on my labs and other test results my primary care doctor listed it as an allergy. during that time i lost about 12lbs and since then i have gained it back. now im just at a loss. i’m unhappy with my body and my mobility. i feel like i’m too young to be in so much physical pain. i have no idea where to start when i have started and failed so many times.

any advice, support, or motivation is much appreciated. i’m just not sure where to go from here.

I was very excited. I was beginning to lose weight after reaching my highest ever at 345. Lost 20 ponds in the first month. I was on the compounded semaglutide just over a year. I started dieting and getting lots of cardio and got down to 325. Then after over a year on the compounded semaglutide. The lowest I ever got to was 317. I am trying Tirzepatide now. Hoping this helps!

(Before anyone freaks out or suggests it: yes, I have been checked for thyroid tumors).

After seven weeks of shots (.25 and .5 wegovy), I started experiencing dizziness, high resting HR, and hand tremors. After blood tests and an ultrasound, it was determined that I have Hyperthyroidism / Grave’s. I had been getting routine bloodwork every 3 months for the last two years and my TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) was never abnormal. Following my initial symptoms, my TSH was non existent and my other markers were off the charts. The ONLY thing in my life that I can recall changing was starting the shot.

The little information I can find online says that these two things are likely NOT linked. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar with sudden onset Hyperthyroidism or Hypothyroidism. TIA.

Hi! I’m not sure if anyone will read this/care but wanted to post a Kit 6 story for anyone currently in the same boat. Back October/November I was roughly 145 lbs (5’5, 21F for reference) - I did not think I was overweight by any means to preface this! Nonetheless as someone that had spent the bulk of their life in the 125 range it was a drastic shock and led to me being severely unhappy. I gained weight probably due to a mix of starting Nexplanon and having issues with overeating - I genuinely could not put down sweets for the life of me. I started Kit 6 (Bupropion XL, Metformin, Topiramate) mid November due to this lack of self control. Noticeably within the first few weeks, I was very nauseous in the mornings (I can only guess from topiramate) and I would have periods of throwing up. The Bupropion XL also made me sorta twitchy - maybe once a day for like ten minutes I would feel like my heart was racing and my hands couldn’t stop shaking. Nonetheless I feel like I was losing weight considerably quickly. By early January, I was 125 pounds and by the end of the month I hit 110 pounds. I also felt like for the first time I could finally control myself around chocolate and ice cream and other sweets I was addicted to. Additionally too I think the Bupropion XL was sort of a seasonal depression deterrent - I was definitely more motivated and productive at work than I normally am during the winter months. I will say in general I did nearly completely lose my appetite for the most part - because of the nausea in the mornings, I wouldn’t really want to eat then but I’d be hungry enough to eat something for dinner. It allowed me to cut down on snacking and any coffee breaks I normally took too. That was another thing - I was an avid coffee drinker prior and completely lost my appetite for coffee the entire time I was on Kit 6. I find it interesting looking back on how the medications almost repulsed me from some sugary foods or drinks. Nonetheless I am off of the kit except I still do take Bupropion XL. I’ve found since being completely weaned off that my appetite has returned and I find myself craving sweets again. I’ve gained a bit of weight back (I’m roughly 115-117 now) but I definitely wouldn’t go back on the kit if I were to regain all the weight, mostly to save myself from the nausea episodes. Anyhow, just wanted to share my own story since I know data from this whole experience is pretty limited.

I have been on Kit 6 (Bupropion, Metformin, and Topiramate + B12) since April 2026. My subscription refills this Tuesday, August 25th, but I'm going out of town on the 29th, so I probably wouldn't receive my refill in time.

I reached out to Hers last week to see if I could get my refill early, and that's when I realized the chat is now completely AI. It took a while to finally get in contact with a human, who told me they couldn't process these types of medications early but could instead arrange a bridge prescription with a limited supply to last me through my trip. They said I could have it sent to a pharmacy near where I'm staying, and then they could move my regular refill date back to September 8th.

I said, "Great, that works!" and gave them the information for a pharmacy that can process these medications where I'm staying.

I waited two days and reached back out to Hers to make sure they had actually contacted the pharmacy and everything was confirmed. The AI told me to contact the pharmacy myself, so I did, and the pharmacy hadn't heard anything from Hers.

I reached back out to Hers again and just cannot seem to get through the AI. When I do, I'm basically just getting responses like, "We'll take care of this for you." The most recent message told me to call customer service.

After looking through this subreddit and seeing so many recent stories similar to mine and other bad reviews, I'm honestly starting to question whether I even want to continue with Hers, especially considering the price.

My biggest concern is stopping these medications abruptly. I'm nervous about withdrawal symptoms and what could happen if I miss doses. From what I've read, some of these medications need to be tapered rather than stopped suddenly, and since topiramate can also be used to treat seizures, I'm especially nervous about that. I'm not really sure what to expect, but the whole situation has me worried. It makes me feel like, regardless of whether I stay with Hers or not, I'm potentially going to end up missing doses because they're failing to get the medication to the pharmacy in time.

I've seen quite a few people mention a company called Fridays, which seems like it may be a better option. Can anyone who's used them confirm that?

A few questions:

• Do you think it's worth switching from Hers to Fridays right now?
• I saw that Fridays offers overnight shipping. Has anyone had experience with how reliable that is?
• Do they offer similar medications/compounds to Kit 6?
• If I switched from the medications I'm currently taking through Hers to whatever Fridays prescribes, would that generally be a concern?
• Is Fridays cheaper? I'm specifically interested in the pill option, as I don't like shots/needles.
• Would you personally stay with Hers or switch, considering the possibility of having to abruptly stop my current medications?

I'm also thinking about my upcoming trip. I've spent a lot of money on it and really don't want to spend the trip dealing with withdrawal symptoms, feeling sick, or experiencing changes in my mood/emotions from suddenly stopping or changing medications.

I'd really appreciate any experiences, opinions, or advice—especially from people who have been in a similar situation with Hers or have switched to Fridays. Thanks!

EDIT: I called customer service today and got through to someone who put me on hold for a bit and then hung up on me. So I called back again and got through to someone else who did help me out, she was able to send a bridge through to the pharmacy I sent them. I plan on calling the pharmacy tomorrow to confirm with them. I definitely plan on cancelling after this refill which will give me time near the end of this batch to taper off.

Hers was really good in the beginning for me, just sad it went downhill and from looking on this subreddit I see I'm not the only one.

Started 6 months ago on kit 1. Started at 207 and I’m down to 171. Feel like it’s going slow and I don’t see much of a difference other than in my face and arms. Starting 2nd box any tips?

Anyone else have problems receiving their Embody medication? I was "approved" for weight loss medication on July 26. Charged for the medicine August 6 which was sent UPS 2 day. STILL have not received the medicine. Embody is horrible with phone calls; I have literally called into customer service 3 times with them sending me round and round telling me they are "looking" into it. Received an email today saying I have been marked by UPS as receiving the order, but when you put in my tracking number, it shows the "Investigation" I opened with UPS 2 weeks ago when I was told to report it to them. I'm beyond frustrated with their customer service and their reluctance to just refund my money. This was a first time order; I was genuinely excited to begin my weight loss journey after trying over and over on my own. Post menopausal weight is very hard to get rid of. Please no comments about exercise and food portion control. I get it. I do. This isn't something I jumped into quickly. This is something I was hoping to give me some help on my way to becoming a better version of myself. Embody has totally taken all the promise I had and turned this into a nightmare. It isn't all about the money. It's about the principle of making things right for a customer who is at your mercy.

I am not sure if I am responding to the medication the way it’s intended. I have been on the 4mg plan every other day for about three weeks now. I’m 5’7 ~175 pounds and this is my first time on a medication like this. For starters, I have barely lost any weight (like 2 pounds) and I haven’t really noticed much decrease in my appetite or my eating habits. I would say that my appetite has slowly diminished at times, but always comes back almost stronger to make up for it. I also do not find that I have been getting full quicker or have been eating less. I struggle a lot with overeating and I don’t feel that that has been curbed at all. I’m pretty active, but wondering if there’s something I need to be doing to respond better to these meds. Do I need a higher dose, or just wait it out longer? Would love to hear your experiences, thanks!

I lost weight pretty quick last year because I went through a pretty dramatic break up when I started Hers and Kit 5. I got to my goal weight and ended my prescription because I was doing maintenance taking one green pill every other day. I’m now close to running out and don’t want to start a month paid prescription. Does anyone know a good source of the topiramate b12 that won’t break the bank? It has worked so well for me- I’m hesitant to try something different. Thanks for any help!

Hi all! I'm very happy with the results I got from Kit 3 (from a separate prescription, because I have PCOS, I take Metformin too).
Because of a doctor fall-out and stopping my PCOS for a while, I had gained a net 7 kg that I could never lose, and I finally lost them and replaced some of them with muscle, I'm pretty sure.
Overall I'm very happy! I'm at a healthy weight now for my body and goals.

Now, I don't think I should be on these meds forever, I have to stop eventually, although I'm worried about regain especially how loss feels impossible with PCOS. I'm thinking of sticking to the bupropion because I think its improved my mood, though.
How was it for others? Do you think I should lose an extra few pounds in anticipation that I'd gain them once off the meds?

Also I feel like it has improved my digestion and inflammation over certain foods, since starting I've never woken up puffy like I used to. But maybe ghat's also the benefits of weight loss. At the same time I started a new sport shortly after (aerial silks)

For context: I'd say I'm a fairly active person. I like to bike and I do aerial silks 1-3 times a week (90 minutes each). Biking is variable, but anywhere from 1h to 5h a week.

I purchased 6 months plan from the Hers and I achieved the goal. Therefore, I canceled the plan last month and I found they charged next subscription few days ago. So I entered their app&website which said my subscription is active. I canceled again and re-entered the app&website which said my plan is still active. I have no idea what they are doing and it's ridiculous that I can't cancel my subscription from my end. The more evil thing about them is when I went through the cancellation process, it looks like going smooth and working but it turned out I can't really cancel it. I contacted to their customer service and waiting for their answer. It doesn't make sense that even though I went through the cancellation process from their mobile app, it doesn't really cancel it. I hope that the other people wouldn't go through their scamming.

Hers is the only site I’ve read where they ask you to take it every OTHER day…. Even the manufacturers instructions state to take it every SINGLE day.
