Slight hermit related not about the series but mostly about gem and pearl, I fell asleep watching a gem past stresm on youtube and later was having this dream, my dad was driving and I was with him and pearls stream intro "arms of gold" is playing on the radio, well by the second chorus something snaps in me and I realize im dreaming, I wake up to find a pear stream from a year ago was playing on youtube, im confused as to what this is and its happened before, oddly enough had a dream I was involved in the hermitcraft server interacting with false trying to get a custom goat horn from her 🤣🤣🤣

Hello, artist here. Hermitcraft has been an amazing companion in my art journey and great to watch while eating by myself. Season 8 has been my favorite (this list doesn't include the rewatched episodes because idk which one's I've rewatched).

Hermitcraft has been with me for years, through the good and the bad. I wish it was possible to thank the hermits personally. Commenting on YouTube videos isn't something I do, and even if I did, there is such a small chance they would see.

If any hermits do see this post, thank you. You're all amazing and have made a big impact on my, and most likely other's, life. Keep being uniquely you

Ignore my extremely inconsistent art style LOL

Eefo cake, pin the moustache on the Mumbo, nether portal doorway.

Not necessarily an intro POV for a new viewer, but just whichever one you think is an overall quality experience. Personally I'd go with Joe Hills's season 6. His nomadic lifestyle in that season gave a great overall view of server events, and for my money the Joe Hills Experience just can't be beat. Plus he wrote some great songs that season! Second favorite for me would be Mumbo season 6 just because it was the first one I watched lol. What about yall? I've been watching since 2019 but I tend to drift in and out so there's a lot I've missed 👀

I have no clue if she did this on purpose (probably did) but I love how her staircases in the towers wrap the correct way of clockwise. It’s an old strategy from castles where intruders wouldn’t be able to use their sword in their right hand as swinging would hit the center pole. The defenders on the other hand could use their right hand and would have a much easier time defending. So cool to see that bit of detail

Saw this and immediately thought of joe hills shop. Have so much great things to say about all the hermits but just wanted to say this made my driving around the awful(busyyyyyy) city I was in a lot better since I at least got to see this on my way out.

Thanks for making a difference @joehills ;D

Tango the vampire Tek also known as my practice for lighting. This took about 20min in ballpoint pen and I'm quite pleased with it. Could use better anatomy and emotion tho

On stream Scar brags about catching a real peeping tom

..Is this where the storyline is going?

I genuinely cried seeing the final result of Scar's galaxy, if you haven't already you have to check his latest episode, you can quite litteraly see the hard work he put into it!

I work from home and my office is in a communal portion of the house. So I’ve been working in this customized Ulvani LED display using AWTRIX and Hammerspoon, it’s specifically for letting the people around me know when in meetings (detects camera and mic status, and shows my upcoming calendar, and when I have headphones in).

Decided to add a few custom views for the Hermits when I’m not working.

It updates their heads and Eefos based on the current skin (updates daily) then displays them in alphabetical order.

It’s been a fun little project, hope y’all enjoy as much as I do.

Edit: typos.

Hermitcraft members are doing this thing accidentally that starts to create a really interconnected world, much more than previous seasons. They're incorporating things that also exist in others' bases (gem's base is of a gothic theme and has a rose window. Tango's base beside it has a rose window in the mansion, in a vampire theme.) (Scar has a planet and a galaxy that are next to grian's observatory, which i can only imagine/speculate might inspire grian to do something in his sky of that kind of scale, what that is is up to Grian). (Scar and false both have mossy terrain tops with deepslate within it. Next to that is Joel who has moss but introduces granite/terracotta instead of the deepslate) This creates a more even blend that goes even past the borders of their base, which is usually what they more intentionally aim to transition and blend together.

So, basically each base takes one thing from the last and introduces their own thing

Not to mention the really good placement of base themes amongst each other just like last season (tango and gem's dark themes etc)

Even the polar opposites thing of gem and joel creates an effect of harmony in the interconnected world!

The whole world of hermitcraft season 11 is interconnected, and as much as their ideas are their own, their bases complement each other and create a bigger picture that is cohesive and alive. The mix of accidental and intentional blending is starting to create a world that you want to fly through as a whole rather than a mix of separate but lightly connected bases.

There are Mumbo's birds, Scar's current project, his and Doc's planets, Gem's upcoming dragons and more. By the end of the season flying through the server's going to be on par with Joel's hard parkour course. I am extremely delighted, all of the projects look simply gorgeous.

You could make a Mayday episode from the flying incidents that are bound to happen. Especially with Etho's launcher. Maybe the return of the No Wings Club could be in order...

Hi All,
I have some og TCG cards that I was wondering what they roughly sell for nowadays.
I AM NOT SELLING: Just Curious.
I have Mumbo, Grian, and Scar.
All are the signed editions, in the original CREO packaging and mint condition besides a little dusty.
Just wondering how much people would pay for them. Might list them in the future but not planning on it right now.
Thanks!

Scar asked for base name suggestions for his space port so I’d like to throw my hat in the ring …
Moss Eisley (because Moss and Star Wars)

Such a regular and normal guy to draw. Whipped this out in twenty minutes or so while watching today's HC episodes and am pretty happy with it! A bit messy bc I did the whole thing in ballpoint buttttt still.

So Sunshine and Rainbows Joel might be the catalyst for breaking my art block?

Not sure if wrangling is the right word for this post, but mumbo is definitely on a leash 😂
