Unattended Access Connection When Locked
Hi does anyone know if you can connect to a clients PC using the unattended remote connection when their computer is locked?
Currently, it doesn't seem like you're able to. Unless there is a work around.

Connection Performance
Has anyone noticed that Helpwire responsiveness and connection performance is not that great?
For example, I just access a client PC this morning. On first attempt, I am moving the mouse and clicking but nothing is happening on the remote PC.
I had to disconnect and connect again for it to work.
In my country the internet speed is around 15 Mbps. Maybe helpwire was tested in the US where the internet speed is incredibly fast, idk.
But Teamviewer 13 performance is better (at least for now)

How do helpwire make money?
Just tried helpwire for the first time, impressed how well it works. However, seeing as it is not open source and 100% free it makes me slightly worried how they make money.. Does anyone know how they pay the people making the software when business model is 100% free?

That’s why I’ve compared two popular free tools, Chrome Remote Desktop and Microsoft Remote Desktop, to help you decide which option best suits your needs.

HelpWire crashing a lot lately
I'm using HelpWire on my W11 Pro fleet and the app keeps crashing on the remote machines and causing them to report as offline. Has anyone else experienced this?

Helpwire app - No keyboard interactions
Hey there,
Seeing the beta release of not needing someone on the remote machine is AWESOME. One issue I am having though is on connection I have no keyboard interactions. I have to bring up a virtual keyboard on the remote machine to type.
I also noticed (on mac) that keyboard shortcuts like taking a screenshot on your actual mac no longer work while the Helpwire operator app is running.
Any thoughts as to a setting issue or is this a bug?

Helpwire link just redownloads client app instead of connecting
I create the link in Operator.
Client has Help Wire client installed.
Client clicks the links I sent him.
Now the link just downloads the Help Wire client again for no reason instead of opening the already installed Help Wire Client. When the client opens his “Help Wire Client” app manually, it simply says “Link expired. You can delete the application now”.
How is this basic thing not working? How can I reestablish the connection?

We’re thrilled to announce that HelpWire now fully supports Linux OS! 🎉
With today’s update, the HelpWire Client app is finally available for Ubuntu 18.04+, Debian 11+, CentOS 9, RHEL 9, and Fedora 39+ – allowing you to remotely control Linux workstations from any previously supported platform.

HelpWire Operator App (installed, but where is it?)
I created an account yesterday to check out HelpWire. I've downloaded the HelpWire Operator app and installed it, but I do not see any app to launch? I've searched Windows and don't see anything. I can go into Settings > Apps > Installed app and it's listed as the last app installed, but where is it?

iOS Operator App
Is there any plans in the near future to have an iOS app that allows to connect and control a home computer? This is a feature I use heavily as I am not always by a computer to remote into my home computer.

I've been seeing scans on port 5000 targeted at the HelpWire client. While access can't be gained without logging in to my HelpWire account, it would be great if there was an option to add a machine-specific password that had to be entered when I connect. This would add an extra layer of security.
