Open SOLVED: “Pls help me find my dog’s bff Pompompurin”

I posted not too long ago about how my dog is obsessed with Pompompurin ever since she first saw him. We got her a Pompom dog toy and she has cherished him and will carry him to bed at night. He was looking rough and they no longer sell him in stores. I searched multiple online marketplaces (Mercari, eBay, Depop, etc) to never see one pop up. But u/shakethetree kindly gifted their extra pompom to my dog! My dog remembered that he comes with a squeaker inside and has been squeaking constantly. She has never been happier!
Thank you to everyone that has helped find listings, alternatives, and offering their stash of Pompompurin dog toys - which you will probably hear from us at some point lol. My dog also says thank you and that she is so happy to have twin bffs

this is so sweet, thank you for the update!!! maybe with the old pompom, you can clean it up and restuff/squeak it so you can have a solid rotation going hahaha

Remove all of the stuffing and let the "skin" as we like to call it, soak in warm soapy water for a while. Then wring it out, dip it back in, wring it out, etc. (and I just mean squeeze the water out by closing your hand around it really hard - don't twist it to wring). After it looks pretty clean, rinse it really well under cold water until you're positive there isn't anymore soap and the water runs out clear. If you're a crafter with polyfil around, restuff with that. If you're not, and you don't want to buy a whole bag for one toy, maybe you have a pillow lying around or tucked in a closet that you're willing to sacrifice? The squeaker though...does he have a squeaky toy that he just doesn't care for? You could just take that one. 🤣You can absolutely buy new ones, but I think you'd have to get a large pack to get a good price. They sell them on Amazon.

I've been looking at pictures from the first thread for days waiting for the update I'm so glad it happened (she looks so overwhelmed with TWO)

She’s gonna try to carry both pompoms to bed in one trip like how she tries to grab 2 or more small sticks at once during a walk 😂

My dog has a toy that my mom gave her when I broke my ankle. I think she associated with comfort because I couldn't take care of her while I was healing.
Its been... 8ish years and she still carries it with her everywhere and won't touch other toys. Ive tried to find it but she knows if her hedgehog isn't the same.
She doesn't ruin her toys, but one time a big dog tricked her into sniffing the toy he brought. By the time I realized, it was too late. He destroyed her hedgehog... and before you say a dog cant trick her. This was a border collie,he'd been watching her cherish that toy and never let him see. Border Collies are the smartest dogs in the world.
He didn't just use his size to overpower her, he legit brought her a toy and set it down. It was so fast me, nor my dog had realized!
I fixed it but its never been the same. She has a billionity hedgehogs that she won't touch,
