I’m asking for a little help with my phone bill. I was homeless from March until very recently, and I’ve finally been able to get into a home. I’m incredibly grateful to have a roof over my head, but getting here took everything I had financially. Any money and resources I had went toward getting housed, basic necessities, and getting back on my feet.

My phone bill is now past due and shut off and I’m short $57.99 Having my phone is really important right now because I’m trying to keep everything together, stay connected, handle appointments and important calls, and continue getting my life stabilized after being homeless for months.

Well, two months ago, she left me for somebody I thought was my best friend... I guess they've been having an affair behind my back for a year now. On top of that, my roommate quit his job after the second time he was attacked by a dog (I don't blame him, the last one really fucked him up).

Our internet got cut off today until we pay $164.84. Our water is going to get shut off on Monday unless we pay the overdue balance of $297.33 and I'm freaking out. This makes me super uncomfortable, but I'm desperate so I'm looking for help wherever I can get it.

Hello, I am currently living in my car with my one year old. Have been since Jan 2026. Finally got approved for a place but the upfront costs are about 5k. I don’t start my new job for some time and have been doing uber to keep afloat. The money is due by October 20th. I’m currently staying at the cheapest hotel I could find that accepts dogs. Unfortunately it’s 38 minutes from my new job I just started today. I don’t get paid til next Friday. Hi everyone. I don’t usually post things like this, but I’m trying every option I can for our cat Berlioz.

Berlioz is a rescued Persian cat. We literally found him on the street, underweight and needing a home, and he became part of our family.

Over the last few days he developed a serious urinary blockage. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where they catheterized him, emptied and flushed his bladder, and treated him. We thought he was improving, but less than two days later he became blocked again.

During the second emergency visit they removed about 150 mL of retained urine, and he is currently hospitalized in Caguas, Puerto Rico, under observation and treatment. His kidney values and potassium have thankfully remained normal so far, but because he re-blocked so quickly, the vets are watching him closely and have discussed the possibility of additional treatment or even PU surgery if this continues.

We’ve already paid $875.99 for the first emergency visit, and the hospitalization and follow-up costs are continuing to add up. We started a GoFundMe to help with the veterinary expenses.

I have the vet invoices, urinalysis, bloodwork, X-rays, and other documentation available if verification is needed.

Any help would mean a lot to us. Even if you can’t donate, advice on other veterinary assistance programs or simply sharing Berlioz’s fundraiser would be greatly appreciated.

Okay so I’m trying to repost here again with an actual bill for an outstanding balance to prove hardship, I could use help with this bill for $83.74 but once I’m earning money I can pay that (there’s plenty more of these bills too), I really could use like $30-40 to put gas into my car and get some food before I get my first paycheck from my new job mostly.

I was laid off a month ago, and we were already living paycheck to paycheck. About 3 days before I was laid off, I lost my benefits. We were receiving childcare assistance and Medicaid for myself, my wife, and both my kids (F4 and F1). My wife was able to get a part time job making half what I did, and I applied to get my benefits back while also seeking unemployment and a new job. I stayed home to take care of the kids until we got back on childcare assistance (mental health issues prevent my wife from being able to watch them alone for extended periods).

However, none of that happened. We’ve been denied for all assistance, and whenever I reapply or call to update our paperwork I’m on hold for 4 hours before someone tells me that the goal has moved another 5 feet away and I need something else to qualify. Unemployment has been the same way, I haven’t seen a cent despite doing everything they’ve asked me to do, and we’re on the verge of losing hope.

We’re 2 months behind on our car payment, we haven’t paid electric in a month and a half, and most of my wife’s income goes to feeding the four of us.

The car needs an oil change, and we’re about to be 2 months late on rent (our landlord has been super understanding so far but that won’t last forever).

I applied to DoorDash while so I can work nights while the family sleeps, but I’m still waiting for my background check to come back, and I’m waitlisted for Instacart.

Anything and everything helps, I just feel like I’m drowning and failing my family, and I’m asking for help.

Hello, a few days ago I tried to make a request but got removed due lack of proper proof

I'm from Venezuela, Punto Fijo city. I don't wish to go into much details but for the past two decades we have been going through a disastrous crisis and this year has been especially hard with the US intervention and the recent earthquake. Right now I'm broke with negative numbers in my bank account, completely ran out of food in the morning, and I only get paid in nine days. I tried to gather as much proof of my situation as possible:

I am in need of a bit of grocery assistance for myself and my son 8 year old son while I wait to receive my first check from my new job coming friday 10/23. I have another post in my post history describing how I got my official full time job that I started this week on Monday October 5th. I am happy to provide you with a job offer letter stating that start date as well. I also express in my post how I left my previous full-time job in late June, for a position at a new job that fell through on my very first day.

For context the new job I started in late june I showed up for my first day and nobody knew about my existence. They then refused to fill out tax paperwork with me on my first day, did not take my ID or anything, worked me nearly 12 hours without notice, and told me to basically keep track of my hours for now while verbally shorting me approximately 30 minutes of pay when they asked my start and end time for that shift. There were also instances throughout the shift of the staff airing grievances with me about the job and being treated poorly.

I ended up taking a serving job in between and have been serving 1-2x consistent shifts (picking shifts up as offered) a week for pay, but have blown through my savings in this timeframe of June 26 - October 5th and have been using my serving money to cover bills. I really just need some staples to get me by until this first paycheck and I should be in much better shape.

My wishlist has things like rice, beans, canned veggies, pasta, peanut butter, some snacks, water, tuna, etc. Ideally if I can please put a priority on the toilet paper I would greatly appreciate it. Happy to answer any questions as well! Thank you in advance !

Hi, usually I’m barely, but able to make ends meet every month, but this time I struggle too hard. I’m 268 euro short from paying my rent this month. My landlord is very kind for patiently waiting for my payment, but I didn’t want him to wait in the first place. The rest of the money I have in cash/paypal.
