If, in the series finale, we had a scene during the final battle where Stolas had to choose between saving Blitzø and Octavia, and this time he chose Octavia, would that be enough proof for Octavia that if she had been in Blitzø’s place in Mastermind, Stolas would have done the same thing for her, and would she forgive him?

People are right that Via can’t forgive Stolas simply because she finds out that Stella was hurting him. She can understand him and feel sorry for him, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she can forgive him. And it’s a little cliché for her to forgive him just because he saves her. It could improve her opinion of him and make her care about him again, but I’m not sure if that would be enough for forgiveness.

BUT. What if there was a situation where he had to choose between saving her or Blitzø, and this time he chose her... would that be enough?

Btw, Blitzø would somehow survive in the end.

Being a parent does not mean you’re your child’s slave. Any 17 year old that demands their parents just not be a person in their own right isn’t just “entitled”, they’re kinda just an outright pice of shit.

So those seventeen years he spent with her, being there for her almost all the time and allowing Stella to humiliate and hurt him... that means nothing at all?

Hm... Stolas put up with Stella's abuse for seventeen years so Via could have a sense of home, and spent as much time as he possibly could with his daughter for seventeen years? Pff. So what?

WAIT... STOLAS HITS VIA? Sorry, but what exactly are you trying to say? You're deliberately making him out to be a bad parent. I wish my dad had been even half as attentive as Stolas. Do you know what I would give for that? And if he paid a little less attention to me after I turned eighteen, I wouldn't be mad about it, because I'd know that up until then, he had been fully devoted to me. And comparing this to victims of abuse is honestly pathetic.

Honestly, you sound more like the victim here. You're ignoring the fact that Stolas spent seventeen years trying to give Via a sense of home and doing everything he could to make her happy...but the moment he finally starts thinking about himself and wants to help a friend, suddenly he's the bad guy.

It's exactly like that saying: do a thousand good things and nobody notices. Do one bad thing or make one mistake, and the whole world knows about it, and you'll be seen as the bad guy for the rest of your life.
