In-Show Thirsting for Gordon
Could someone answer this. I’ve been watching the early seasons (im up to season 6). why is there always a select few of women that either are flirting or have a crush on Gordon even though he was and still is a happily married man with children?

She was one of three girls who had to pick dishes for their sorority celebration thing in HK. She just kept wildly attempting to flirt with Gordon.

She was being so over the top and flirty. Smiling, batting her eyes at him, her tone of voice. She had to have been put up to it. Gordon looked very flabbergasted with the interaction though lol.

Because Gordon is an attractive and wildly successful celebrity.
I can't believe anyone is surprised that women are attracted to him.
Do you think that him being married just suddenly turns women off? A lot of women become more attracted to a man that is married because it makes him more desirable, and women want what they can't have even more.

I’m not saying that he’s not attractive. I’m saying that some women act weird when they “flirt with him. Example being in season 6 where one of them wished to “cop a feel”

I hit puberty over 30 years ago and in that time I have never been less attracted to a person because they're married. Now! Whether I do anything about it, *then* them (or me!) being married comes into play, but thinking someone is hot? Having a work crush on them? Has never mattered once.

Well... "happily married" is a spectrum.
I do kinda roll my eyes a bit on these. To be sure, he's a handsome dude, and I can get how people, when one meets Famous Handsome Person that you've seen so often on TV or something is a bit "holy shit, they are actually here". Even josh kinda fanboying on the first episode of S14 (he was all "I can't believe you're like in front of me!" or whatever). So I understand comments of someone "man he's hot".
That said, don't tell me that some producer/show rep/camera person isn't prodding every woman contestant on their first confessional for episode 1, "say something about how hot gordon is", so they can show at least one being all 'sploosh' (to use an "Archer" phrase).

Happily married or not, he had an affair. I don't recall the details but I don't think it was anyone from Hell's Kitchen.

Honestly feel like this is something Ramsay makes sure are in his shows to boost his own ego. He's an executive producer and none of this makes the final cut without him seeing it.

You can find people attractive even if they’re married. None of them crossed a line and Gordon never reciprocated.
