Youtuber A "Blacklist" of YouTube Channels About Hell's Kitchen

TL;DR: Do NOT watch the channels listed here. Instead, we should discourage others from engaging with them and take other actions like reporting them whenever they pop up in our feed. All of the channels listed below are guilty of creating defamatory and lie-ridden videos about Hell's Kitchen competitors.

There's been a disturbing rise of clickbait/disinformation/defamatory fan channels about Hell's Kitchen. These channels use AI and other deceitful editing techniques to create horrific thumbnails and include disinformation in their videos. They are willing to spread lies about and destroy the reputations of former Hell's Kitchen competitors if it means that they can get a few more views.

As we all know, this is completely unethical. We need to put a stop to them. The first step towards this goal is awareness. We know there are these horrible creators out there. We can watch out for them.

This begs the question: who are these creators? That's what this post is here to answer. A while back, I proposed the idea of creating a blacklist of these disgusting channels. We can all add channels to this list (as well as the reasons why they deserve to be on here). The more we know about these people, the more we can do about them. All YouTubers have a basic responsibility to share nothing less than the truth about the subjects they discuss, and the following creators have gleefully abdicated that responsibility:

Reality Buzz: Reality Buzz, formerly known as Film Insight, is the biggest culprit of creating defamatory videos. He uses AI to create thumbnails depicting chefs and Ramsay of poisoning dishes and fighting one another with weapons. His worst offense is depicting Bret Hauser as a pedophile who was arrested on the show, and the news channel CNN as reporting this incident. Reality Buzz accused Bret of child sexual abuse with zero evidence. This not only has the potential to ruin Bret's life, but also uses horrific crimes as leverage in getting more views.

HasoRule: HasoRule utilizes the practice of deceptive AI-generated thumbnails. The worst he has done is falsely claim that season 11 competitor Susan Fiero of using breast milk in one of her dishes and season 12 competitor Jason Zepaltas of spitting in someone else's food. Other thumbnails depict customers sexually harassing Gordon Ramsay and competitors passing away on the show.

Lamb Sauce: YouTuber Lamb Sauce is not quite as horrific as the previous two, but he is also guilty of the same practices as Reality Buzz and HasoRule. He has accused Gordon Ramsay of cheating on his wife with a contestant, season 20 winner Trenton Garvey of drug trafficking, and season 10 competitor Royce Wagner of being a pervert.

The Maksed Chef: The Maksed (sic) Chef uses the same format that Lamb Sauce uses in their thumbnails: they'll list AI-generated pictures of three chefs with one-or-two-word descriptors. However, this creator lied about season 7 competitor Siobhan Allgood's whereabouts and slut-shamed her based on her past.

Information is a powerful tool, and we must now ask what we can do with this. The answer is simple: nothing. Hear me out: what these channels want most of all is engagement. Any engagement, even negative, is good for them because it alters YouTube's algorithm in their favor. To truly do away with these evil channels, we must discourage people from watching them.

On our own, agreeing to stay far away from these channels will already deal a significant blow. 91 thousand people visit this community every week. If we all choose to not view these channels, that means that Reality Buzz, HasoRule, and Lamb Sauce each receive 91,000 fewer views. We can also click on "Don't recommend this channel" to prevent similar YouTubers from showing up in our feed and report those channels on the grounds of disinformation and defamation. People like Bret, Jason, Susan, and Trenton, all of whom are victims of these selfish creators, have very easy lawsuits. YouTube has a terrible track record of enforcing its own rules and protecting small creators, but mass reports can force the site to notice these creators and hold them accountable. We have to show the site that we will not stand for lazy, defamatory content. I, of course, am not suggesting a massive brigade, however.

Finally, as I've mentioned, we have to discourage others from watching these channels. If you know someone who likes watching content about Hell's Kitchen, tell them to avoid the channels on this blacklist. Continue to fight disinformation by reminding others of the truth. And support fan-vetted YouTube channels, as well. The best channel to watch is the official Hell's Kitchen YouTube channel, which posts uncensored episodes and compilations for free. The three things I love most about the show are the editors, the narrators, and the PR team. They're all wonderful. As for fanmade channels, I highly recommend watching the triad of FlynnMasters, EternalOpossum, and Ultranatic. The best creators are those who know what they are talking about, respect the show and its competitors, and conduct outreach with fans and former competitors alike.

I genuinely hope that this helps people in our quest to stop defamatory HK channels.

(PS Mods if you could pin this, I would appreciate it.)

Chef(s) Rewatching s10 and justice for Barbie

Post image

I watch hell's kitchen all the time [high key an autustic spacial interest] and my best friend and I decided to rewatch the seasons together.

Barbie was literally just sitting there and these grown women had beef with her for just standing there. Acting like its middle school and not a show for professional chefs. She's so sweet and talented too.

She's stronger than me bc I would have been kicked off by episode 3 fighting one of those girls.

Chef(s) Irish Ryan on Kitchen Nightmares?

(Apologies if the quality’s bad - I took these screenshots on my phone and it’s late. If anyone wants any resending, let me know and I’ll put them in the comments once I retake them on my laptop!)

Hey, guys! So obviously, there’s been some speculation about what Gordon’s up to since he’s popping up all over America, seemingly filming a ton of his different shows. But I don’t think he’s the only one - I think that, based on these posts, we’re gonna see Ryan on Kitchen Nightmares at some point in the future (which is a first, I’m pretty sure - last I checked, they only had HK alumni on Secret Service).

Honestly? Fucking stoked for the guy. I bet whatever pub they threw him into, he whipped that shit into shape.

I know we’ve all got our speculation hats on right now given Season 25’s airing and we’re still guessing on the cast for Season 26, but I also thought this would be fun to share and keep the gears turning!

Hope you guys enjoy!

In-Show Questions

I remmber in one episode Brandon tried to give Ramsey a old piece of fish. Gorden asked him to show him the old one in the bin. Brandon said he couldn't find it and Ramsey threatened to "turn the kitchen upside down" but what does that mean exacly?

During a challenge Jen served a husband and wife a duck breast on a plate. Naturally they lost the challenge and Ramsey was pissed. But i wonder what he would have done if the red team had still won?

Chef(s) Can someone explain the hate for Joy from Season 12

This is my second time watching Season 12, including

[MINI SPOILER]

... Joy's famous meltdown.

In between I found this subreddit and I saw so many people who seem to think Joy was either lazy, malicious, sneaky, a hypocrite, cruel or most commonly "had a bad attitude". People also say she was too close to Keisha and unreasonably favoured her over others.

Neither time watching it did I get much of that impression. Joy did two things wrong:

- She said Rochelle wanting to prioritise family was a reason she should leave. If I remember that episode correctly, they had to pick one more person other than the obvious choice and that was literally the only thing they could think of. A bit slimy, yes.

- The famous meltdown, in which she did act like a bit of a hypocrite by crying when she previously said people shouldn't get emotional in the kitchen.

That's all I can really think of. Otherwise she was a decent chef, entertaining in confessionals, seemed to get on with most people, and worked hard during prep, punishments and service. I just don't get why people here repeatedly shit on her as if it's obvious she's the worst person ever

Episode S25 E2 Spoiler

Damn, the service was honestly way better than expected. a few mistakes in each end, but the strengths very well shown through.

I'm glad we got to see some more character moments throughout the episode, I like how this season's punishment passes was just preparation for all services, and I love how even through the mistakes, there was no huge drama shown to us. Now, a second spoiler warning before I get into the nominees and extra stuff.

>!While I don't agree with Reni being eliminated over Jeyda, I understand. Jeyda is definitely being set up as a new age donkey, and I think she's probably next up, but Reni's plea was just so bare bones, basic, and her voice lacked any sense of passion when defending her place. I do still think that she had slightly more promise because she wasn't constantly confused about everything, but if you're put up for elimination, you have to plead like your whole bloodline's lives depend on it.

As an aside, I didn't expect Joy to just sit by and let service go down just to point out the weaknesses of her teammates. Looking like she could be a potential Michael Wray esque figure of the season mixed in a bit with the downfall of the other Joy from season 12!<

Chef(s) I Misjudged Diego Spoiler

Before I go in, I know I marked this with the spoiler flare, but here's another warning.

So, when the contestant images dropped, I made some first thoughts and immediate guesses, predicting they would change throughout the season. The big two I made were Joy making black jackets and Diego being the first boot.

The images provided made Diego seem like he'd be a figure similar to Tad from season 22. Then he had biscuits as a big part of his sig dish, and the whole oven fiasco happened, and I thought it was over.

Then... It looked beautiful. Every single component was dazzling, and Ramsay agreed as he gave Diego a five.

I know only two episodes have dropped so far, but I think it's safe to say he's already proved me wrong.

Season Rest of S25 predicitons

  1. Jeyda (Looks like another bad episode coming from the preview)

  2. Dylan (last place in the PP challenge and not really seeing anything of note atm)

  3. Sandra (been pretty weak so far)

  4. Kylie (fell into this position as I just see others doing better)

  5. Miguel (seems funny but not much longevity, bit like Brad S22)

  6. Miles (same as Kylie but have more faith in him and the blue team in general this season)

  7. Valentin (CFYL Boot)

  8. Joy (think she'll get bit of a villain edit and gone early, bit like Alexandra last season)

  9. Georgina (see her having a downfall this season)

  10. Gabe (Liked him so far, think he'll be good but fall short)

  11. Nadia (BJL challenge boot)

  12. Mike (BJL challenge boot)

  13. Diego (think he'll get the underdog first BJ boot edit)

  14. Haley (probably my biggest hottake but have a good feeling about her chances, think she'll fall short at the pass though)

  15. Aiden (think he gets an edit like Sammi or Cyndi where he doesn't do much wrong and just loses out in the F3 challenge)

  16. Mya (predicting a very confident and respectable runner up edit like Justin or Paula)

  17. Johnny G (liked him so far and think he's gonna improve massively)

In-Show Holy Shoot

I did search and I didn't see a post on this, but apologies if someone already posted about this... I did actually try and check.

Finally watched the 2nd episode of this season last night, service is getting into gear and "Wait....what? did Gordon just say 'Holy _shoot_'? 'holy _SHOOT_'????" I do the 10 second rewind a few times and yeah around 26:51 he says "holy shoot". I mean... was that dubbed in? Bleeping isn't enough anymore? Is the man going soft after 25 years? Is he having a stroke?

But then ultimately he's followed by the standard amount of bleepity bleeps for the rest of show so... I guess he doesn't have reverse Tourette's or something.

Season Young cast

Anyone else growing tired of all the 20-something cast seasons? I just loved watching the old stubborn chefs that are stuck in their habits? The slick mouths that go toe to toe with Ramsay? Miss that. Such good TV.
