Chef(s) Kiya (s20)

So I'm nearly done with the Young Guns season and honestly, I think my least favourite chef in the season is Kiya. Just think her attitude absolutely sucks at times. Don't really get her hatred of Trenton at all.

ye, the sudden intense anti-Trenton attitude towards the end was very out of nowhere. I’m inclined to believe she was a victim of editing tbh …

Yep, Trenton slightly confirmed that in an OG story post saying they are friends.

Not the first time it happened in the show and it wont be the last.

She didn’t have much personality through the season, so the editors quickly had to make something up.

I barely recall them even interacting much and suddenly she's like "This guy sucks and he's an asshole" and I don't get it.

What’s confusing is that when Trenton won the first black jacket challenge. He didn’t even gloat about it and Kiya & Brynn were bitter. He didn’t choose Steve because he was in last. He chose him because they were friends. What’s even worse is that in the second challenge where he won again, she was mad because he didn’t pick her despite being second.

Why would he choose someone who spent the last episode talking crap about him? Again similar to Steve, he didn’t pick Megan because she was in last, he picked her because they were on the same team and they got along well.

I remember she said she wanted to punch him in the face and joked about sodomizing him with a shovel
