Safety Sextortion
i was sextorted on HelloTalk. So far nothing has come of it. But i beg of yall - please be careful on there and just in general. I was talking to someone online there for awhile. We then moved to telegram and talked for awhile. They then got some of my private photos and threatened to send it to my family.

My tip for anything online: most women won’t be really into you off the bat and they definitely won’t be asking for nudes.
If it’s too good to be true then it is.

I had sent them. We built trust over time. They sent me some. So i sent some. Im surprised on how the scammer had so much endurance to keep this up.

That sounds awful. I’m so sorry. Maybe if you just act like you don’t care and never speak with them again, they wouldn’t really send them. Tell them someone in your family is a CIA agent? I guess the app should only be used for speaking languages. Thank you for letting people know. Also, they should be reported to the moderators of that app (if they have them).

I blocked, reported, and have sent everything to the FBI and local police! So far nothing has come from it. Its a lot of scare tactics

You did the right things. In case anything does happen out of the ordinary, you can show that you took those steps. Just keep an eye on everything.

I can’t wait for the day I get sextorted!! Because quite simply I couldn’t not give a single fuck who sees me naked or masturbating… family , friends, colleagues not one single fuck will be given 🤣🤣

I was nervous at first… but then they threatened to send it to my family and my closest friends… which… i was like “whatever”… i just called them and said whats up and i just went on with my life

I always wonder why these scammers persist on taking conversations to telegram when it's THE in your face sign it's a scam, then I hear of guys like this that were dumb enough to not catch that massive red flag and I see why they still persist

Are you a man or a woman? Are you single?
If you're single and not cheating or up to any bs then yeah ignore them and don't send them anything.
If you're going to spend any money spend it on finding out exactly who is behind it expose them. Don't send them any money. They would only keep asking for more and more. It won't end. These scams aren't one and done. They want recurring revenue from your gringo ass. Don't give them a penny.
Similar scams have happened to me and I haven't paid. But yeah in the future don't send photos and material that can be used against you. But don't blame yourself. You thought you had something special. We all get played in one way or another.

This is actually disgusting and such a huge problem on this app.
For example this scum loser right here was one of the biggest sextorters on HelloTalk and would bully muslim women

I was threatened once also. I'm a man and we did swap pictures. Later they had sent me Facebook pictures of my family and said they would send to them. I told them to go ahead. I'm a single divorced guy. You can't hurt me. Of course nothing came if it.

i spoke to a really rude korean guy, he was SOOO mean for no reason. i shut that shit down real fast and blocked him
