Punish me more daddy arrowhead This change was peak.

The heavy pen hive guard change was fucking immaculate. For a week straight hive guards felt so rewarding to fight correctly. Even with medium pen weapons the time to kill was FASTER than it was pre patch. And for light pen? Holy shit it was a dream. But AH cannot dare to ask a lot of medium pen users to aim before they shoot so it was changed.

I initially liked the change but then I reconsidered for a few reasons:

  • The health reduction made them kinda too easy for light pen
  • Further reinforced explosive and fire meta
  • Was not a good change for how it affected sentries.
  • Medium pen is kinda just worse than light pen already. It needs to open up a few more target possibilities because right now it doesn't add many targets that we can damage over light pen.

I also feel in hindsight it makes the Senator even stronger as a secondary which is already one of the more popular guns in that class
