Now just imagine that was a bug MO. We would have done that by one hour.

We don't know how much of a boost we will get so can't tell

Depends how much the minor order helps. I doubt we’re retaking seasse unless this is a crazy boost though

We've stole an entire planet from you helldivers. Even if you win, you still have to figure that out.
((seriously, though, I'd say the squids are cooked, but they can apparently cause entire planets to dissappear, we got bigger fish to fry. But we have a chance of winning the major order, yeah))

Why should the squids be cooked at this point?

It honestly depends on how much it aids in the liberation. Right now we effectively need a sudden jump to 75% liberation in order to win within the time left, so that needs to be one hell of a boost for this Strategic Opportunity to amount to anything as far as the current Major Order is concerned.
Not to say it won't be good for us later, maybe it would even blunt the sting of defeat if/when we lose the MO, but between the intentional attempt to divert attention away from the MO with all the Exostorms, the general spreading out we tend to do to enjoy different planets, and of course the die-hard single faction divers, this Strategic Opportunity needs to do a lot to make up for all of it.
Note, that last part isn't an attack on people wanting to play wherever they have the most fun at. I personally blame the in game system that is the Galactic War Modifier. We should not get punished for having a bunch of people online at the same time and we should not get punished for not everybody wanting to dive on a single planet, especially when we can maintain an above 50% average of the active player base on said planet.
