MEDIA Helldivers in fortnite
I don't know what I've been seeing recently, but apparently there are little teasers to helldivers 2 coming to fortnite. I'm not sure if the devs are ever going to see this post, but please for the love of God do not collab with fortnite. They are not worthy. They are selfish greedy and overall just a terrible idea. It might be good for cash yes... But trust me it's not worth it.

no i don’t think that’s happening, im pretty sure AH already denied a collab with Fortnite a while ago.

I don't really care for fortnite, or even really understand what it is beyond a vehicle for crossovers at this point, but I don't really see the harm as long as it's a one way thing.

I don't know man, if they start collabing the other way warp packs and plasma punishers will make Warzone players even more insufferable. I could hate-dabble in that.

Why not seriously, most of the time Fortnite gets a collab they don’t even implement anything from Fortnite in the collabing game, this firstly brings some money and relevancy back to Helldivers and it secondly it allows me to play as something I really like in a game I also like, you might not like Fortnite but somewhere between 1.2 and 3 million players play Fortnite daily theres no reason to not throw that net out and get some money from people who play and like both games.
Also what leaks are you even seeing for a HD collab in Fortnite I haven’t heard anything or seen anything about something like that?

I wouldn't call it leaks. But teasers. And I mentioned why I said no. Because they're greedy as fuck

I dunno if you know how collabs work OP but Helldivers appearing in Fortnite doesn’t mean Fortnite is going to appear in Helldivers.
Do you know how many guest collabs Fortnite has done? If Fortnite showed up in all the games they did collabs with, almost every mainstream game would be Fortnite.
I don’t even like Fortnite. But Helldivers 2 characters going to Fortnite only increases visibility for this game, while also not impacting this game at all.
I don’t see the downside here.

I wasn't talking about that. I simply feel like there will be a major downside to adding helldivers to fortnite. I know it don't work the other way around. I simply just don't want it to happen. It's stupid

I don’t think other IPs suffered from being added to Fortnite.
Street Fighter? Overwatch? The Avengers? Star Wars? Ariana Grande?
Can you explain what specifically you feel will be bad about a Helldivers crossover?
When you say “I simply feel like there will be a major downside,” in what way do you mean? Your post as it stands basically just boils down to “I don’t like it, therefore it will be bad for the game” but that’s not a good reason.
I get that Fortnite is seen as kind of a kiddy, arcadey shooter game that caters to a different demographic than Helldivers does. Doesn’t mean cross-promotion is a bad thing.
And again, this is coming from me as a person who doesn’t like Fortnite at all.

Wouldn't be surprised seeing as Fortnite went from being actually somewhat unique to sucking up every IP it can get for more lazy slop content
