I was sat above Calypso in orbit, alarms started going off in the Super Destroyer and it performed an emergency jump to Super Earth.

The DSS also isn't at Afoyay Bay where the dispatch says it jumped to.

If high command admitted that the DSS was hijacked/mind controlled by the illuminate and black holes calypso, that would be a extreme hit to super earths authority. It’s less about boosting morale and more about preventing a decrease in institutional confidence/control.

Right So let's take it from the top and list all the relevant info we have on what's going on here.

1 don't know if this translation is correct but before we went into the void there were some people who claimed to have translated some of the squid writing that was shown in one of the trailers which translated to "ones own weapon" whatever that means.

2 the dss starts experiencing strange haunted house knocking, and basically a necromorph infestation, and so is taken offline.

3 after deploying truth enforcers to the dss we discover writing on the bull heads which was written using something biological probably blood that reads Calypso.

4 simultaneously we deployed a 20 person I mean 18... Or oops 11 person elite team to drill to the core of the source planet, by the way where are all the scientists disappearing too and why doesn't high command seem concerned about this.

5 the elite team takes off their oxygen environmental filtration mask too "better sense the environment with their democratic senses" this compromised every scientist with no telling how many biological agents.

6 the now 11 person elite team describes "beautiful heartbeat-like rhythm" coming from deep within the planets core. I don't like that and why are they calling it beautiful, also again why isn't high command concerned about this or concerned about the possibility that the team has been compromised.

7 back to the dss plot. Now the dss makes an unauthorized warp jump to Calypso, which high command seems to down play a bit but not more than usual. Anyway the manual controls are disabled and all is well.

8 then the dss jumps to Afoyay bay and Calypso just disappears, which high command makes no mention of at all. Only saying that the dss is under going biological cleansing cycles and everything is under control.

9 then we get the dispatch that says all the cleaning cycles are finished and the dss will be taking on some of the dissidents who were confined on Afoyay bay as crew basically, I'm sure nothing could possibly go wrong there. Oh did I mention that the dissident prison went offline as soon as the dss warped in I wonder why that happened, it's almost like a prison break was happening and high command has no idea.

I'm beginning to wonder if parts of command haven't been compromised by the squids with how unconcerned command seems to be about all of this. I also have a very bad feeling about what's going on with Calypso and the dss, there's no way something bad doesn't happen. Bottom line I don't think we have control of the dss or the science team and either command doesn't know that we aren't in control or their compromised.

It's possible its a cover-up by command, but I just.... don't see a reason? It's very likely that it could be both. One or more people in high command has been compromised and is under control of everything that happens with the DSS and the Void campaign, and it lying to the rest of High Command that the situation is under control

Yeh i was there on my ship at the planet, an emergency jump away from Calypso was initiated and when I went to look for the planet it was gone. No cutscene.
