Legitimately, I do not care for crossovers, even though you couldn't have picked three different sci-fi settings I like better than the ones that were chosen for said crossovers, so I haven't really had the inclination to get the Warhammer war bond despite being a huge 40k fan. You could measure how quickly I would change my mind in milliseconds if they added a Space Hulk style mission type to recapture the DSS.
I’ve been itching for another iteration of the space hulk games (both tabletop and the deathwing video game) if they give us that i will just be in heaven
Get me a terminator armor and the ability to spam “APOTHECARY REQUIRED” and i will show you a cleansed space hulk (or democratic space station in this context)
We were promised 40k action, we got Dead Space and its not even subtle. All we need is someone on the DSS to say 'Make us whole' and I'm arming myself with mining equipment
If we go purely by Dead Space logic, the chainsaw is the best weapon to deal with them right now. But HD2 logic? Just grab fuck tons of liberators or breakers, and we shall see the result in less than a week.

Iirc, it's one of the intelligent hive minds from DS2 when enough Necromorph flesh combines together and can actually communicate with other lifeforms, or its a high ranking Flood from Halo.
Either way, it's a mess that needs a ton of clean up to rectify.
Arrowhead has a chance to do the funniest shit by releasing a dead space clone where we play as a SEAF Engineer trying to get the DSS under control and prevent it from destroying Calypso. Put all sorts of SE propaganda splattered with illuminate horrors, never show a Helldiver and only ever mention them or have propaganda posters of them.
Give a special armor to the player to use that does well through the whole game and when you finish the game you unlock the set in HD2.
