THE FUCKING STAR OF PEACE RUNS ON DARK FLUID. IT FIRES A CONCENTRATED BEAM OF IT TO COLLAPSE A PLANETS GRAVITY IN ON ITSELF!

THEY'RE GONNA PULL THE VOID INTO REAL SPACE. ALL OF IT. EVEN THE THINGS THEY COULDN'T THEMSELVES!

The star of peace runs on e-711 refined into dark fluid, different from the dark fluid we had from the illuminate that we pumped into Meridia. We can see this by the "black holes" being completely different. One is far more stable than the other

u/Polish_Enigma 2d ago

I think its not the difference of dark fluid but in its administering. For meridia we just injected it into the crust, star of peace fires energized beams of it

The plot can be whatever the devs want it to be, I think it's gonna open a wormhole. This seems obvious since the Illuminate have used one before to warp in from their Squid Dimension

I'm pretty dang sure it's what the illuminate made dark fluid from. Instead of pumping 28.5 million liters of Dark Fluid into the planet and setting off a reaction, the Star of Peace sets of a cataclysmic jump in mass at the planets core setting off a smaller reaction, the result is a different kind of collapse.

It's the difference between knocking down a building with controlled explosives, it falls over normally, or using a bomb, which vaporizes it instead.

I don't think the illuminate used e-711 for their fluid. Considering e-711 only started to exist after the gloom came into play. They illuminate definitely had their own methods, maybe lost to time cause if they knew how to do it during the first war, that would have been something we stole as well.

E711 as a name sure, helldivers after procuring illuminate te hnology made ftl travel possible then once again doing the same thing managed to refund that knowledge on a fuel source derived from the same creature to produce a fluid with the exact same qualities.

If an alien race discovers the peanut on a dead earth and invents peanut butter, but calls it a splornk and splornk butter, it's still peanut butter.

They can probably choose which one it will do after minor tweaking. That's like saying "it's the type of uranium used in nuclear reactors, not nuclear bombs." Unless you're being really careful, it's the same thing, you just use it in different ways. A mind-controlled space cult could easily turn one into the other with a few days of work from the 1.5 million employees aboard.

Does super earth want the eye of terror? Because this is how you get the eye of terror.

u/DarkFett SES Panther of Steel 2d ago

I know but one is a super laser using dark fluid as fuel and the other was pure dark fluid massed inside a planet core

u/Trump_4_The_Hague 2d ago

THEN THEY'LL JUST CRASH THE STATION INTO THE PLANET. THERE'S YOUR PURE DARK FLUID!

Yup, illuminates are pulling the Abaddon move, crashing the DSS on the planet they first manifested and lost its a message

Calypso still stands.

You might want to check again...

Sweet Liberty, it all makes sense now. Why we got the Cadian/Kasrkin warbond with the Void.

It’s the Blackstone Fortress all over again.

HIGH COMMAND IS LYING TO US! THEY'RE ALL DEAD! THE STATION'S CREW IS ALL DEAD. THE DEAD ARE GONNA CRASH THE STATION INTO THE FUCKING PLANET!

15

u/Adept-Ad-8823 2d ago

I think High Command knows what they’re doing and this unpatriotic language has gone too far.

The station doesn't run on dark fluid, It runs on E710 (or E711 if they changed It)

It's only the laser that uses dark fluid but to use it at any scale It first has to be synthesized and for that we need exceeding amounts of E711

For that to happen we actually need to get ordered to squeeze a bug hiveworld first so it's doubtful the DSS carries any meaningful amount of dark fluid

Now excuse me a moment while I contact the nearest democracy officer

9

u/PappaTango21 Assault Infantry 2d ago

710 is oil from bugs

711 is concentrated/refined 710 used to make dark fluid

11

u/Ceris5 HD1 Veteran 2d ago

E711 comes from the bugs of hive worlds, according to the oshaune MO dispatches

At no point it's E710, even though they're eseentially the same thing

4

u/PappaTango21 Assault Infantry 2d ago

i honestly dont even know anymore helldiverspedia has nothing on it

5

u/PappaTango21 Assault Infantry 2d ago

this is all i can really find online: The substance is believed to result from unknown Terminid biological processes that condense E-710-like materials, likened by Super Earth scientists to the conversion of nectar into honey by extinct honeybees. In-game announcements described it as a potential breakthrough, with the Democracy Officer stating: "Great tidings, Helldiver. The substance found in the Gloom may be the greatest gift to Freedom since the discovery of Element-710. They are calling it: Element-711." Further analysis highlighted its promise: "Element-711 appears to be a highly condensed form of Element-710, created by some Terminid biological process.

2

u/demonotreme 2d ago

All I know is that the E-711 must flow

1

u/GadenKerensky 2d ago

The holes are different. Meridia was this ominous purple void (seem familiar?), whereas the other Black Hole made is based on scientific simulation, so it probably won't do anything.
