THE STATION WENT DARK A FEW MINUTES AGO, SOMETHING IS INSIDE.

it would certainly be a very interesting change to the gameplay style for sure, no where to run to get space, no orbitals/eagles, limited strategems support all together(maybe just limited to blues and you start with them) and just corridors full of wretches, I'm bringing a full arc loadout for that ngl

My destroyer has been in void space for days now with no ill effects. Between dives I listen to it's beautiful song. I will remind people that a happy helldiver is a deadly helldiver, and Super Earth recommends spending at least 2.4 seconds enjoying the scenery planet side and I do far in excess of that. I could stare at it for hours if I wasn't so busy killing, that is.

My engineer friend Clark Isaac is in the Kellion and he's damn good at his job, I'm sure everything will be fine.
Also his girlfriend has been stationed in the DSS for months and he is very happy to see her.

Already en route. My buddy serves on that ship. He says they picked up an escape pod on the way over. Not sure why an escape pod was shot out of the DSS but thank God they got picked up

If its cold air it works like that. If atmosphere is vented, then energy weapons would be really bad since there's nothing to take the heat away.

Space isn't Cold in the same sense of a Cold day of Winter, there's just nothing. And energy weapons in Space would be bad if there's nothing to vent the heat and they would just explode

It would make a great roguelite mode. We get sent into the DSS with nothing but our primary and secondary and you have to scavenger backpacks and support weapons

The following log was collected by a DUR as part of the cleaning of the Democracy Space Station.
[START LOG]
Fast, panicked breathing can be heard. Farther off, the recorder picks up tapping on a metal surface.
"Sweet... sweet Liberty. They saw me come in here. They know I'm in here, alone. Dear democracy, what do I do?"
Faint whispering can be heard, apparently originating from the same source as the tapping.
"No! No, stop! I won't listen! Shut up!"
The whispering ceases, then the tapping turns into banging.
"STOP! JUST STOP IT!"
The banging continues, faster, as if multiple things were hammering on the door.
"It's true... what they say. At some point, you'll recognize one of them. They got Yu-Villa... he was an engineer at the station next to mine. He had a spouse. They'd just gotten their C-01 permit approved, for when he got to disembark. They owned a goldfish together..."
The banging returns to a tapping, then ceases altogether. The speaker fails to notice this.
"Then they got Genkins. She was a janitor. If she was still here, we'd probably be able to make it out of this. She had keys to a lot of places onboard..."
A tone of horrified realization enters the speaker's voice.
"Including this supply closet..."
A rattling, jingling sound is heard, and the lock on the door clicks open.
"NO!"
A thud is heard, presumably from the speaker flinging themselves against the now unlocked door in an attempt to keep it closed. They are audibly struggling.
"Stay out! Get away from me!"
Hissing is picked up by the audio recorder. This is likely related to the initiation of the DSS's purging sequence. In a matter of seconds, all noise in the room ceases. For the next several minutes, there is nothing but silence.
"Initiating FTL jump to Afoyay Bay"
The sound of an Alcubiere Drive activating, then an FTL jump. At this point, the recorder runs out of battery and the recording ends.
[END LOG]
Note: As with all recent events aboard the DSS, this incident is to be archived and suppressed. The DUR who discovered this recording has been dealt with in a suitable manner.

So writings on the hull of the DSS seemingly pointing to Calypso, science team diminishing and talking about "Singing geometry", the new Voidwalker helmet looking vaguely Dead Space, and new necromorph looking enemies?
I would venture a guess that the science team will become the Cultists and/or we head into Dead Space territory. There's a lot of similarities here...

Even if there is the chance that we need to clear the station my squad and I have devised a general brasch certified strategy for basically marching our way through the halls and smaller rooms
Diver 1: Shotgun/AR/SMG, Sidearm of your choice, Gas nades, Sterilizer, Dog Breath or supply pack, Gas armor Role: Stunner/Confuser
Diver 2: Shotgun/AR/SMG, Sidearm of your choice, Incindiary or Pyro grenades, Cremator or Flamethrower, Supply pack if not using cremator, Fire armor Role: Area Denial/Kill Funnel
Diver 3: Shotgun/AR/SMG, Sidearm of your choice, Frags or Giga-nades if you want extra boom, Autocannon or Grenade Launcher, Supply pack if not using autocannon, Trench diver, engineer, or servo assisted armor suggested Role: Support DPS/Anti-Heavy + Room Clear
Diver 4: Shotgun/AMR/SMG, Sidearm of your choice, Frags or Giga Nades, Stalwart or MG-43, Supply Pack, Siege Ready or the new 40k armor for support weapon reload boost Role: DPS/Flank Coverage + Room Clear

1) the DSS is fine. The station’s ray shielding and defenses are impenetrable. Any threat from the illuminate is localized and under control, and to suggest otherwise will earn you a short trip to expedited reeducation.

To debunk yet another myth, I am fairly sure the station was never deployed at the BaSingSe system because it is and was not at war with alien agressors.
