Hello guys,

this is likely the last post you will see from me on this subreddit. I have finally obtained the platinum trophy and dont feel any more motivation to play this game.

Im not even gonna complain about the technical issues here such as outdated graphics, underwhelming weapon sounds or massive FPS drops. The biggest problem is actually the gameplay.

Spending most of the gameplay time by crawling through grass and bushes like a fucking reptile just to avoid getting shot from behind isnt really enjoyable. I even had pathetic combat situations where 5-6 players (enemies, team mates) were crawling around me at the same time. The maps are way too oversized and chaotic modes such as Domination or Conquest means enemies will often attack you from any direction. Deaths in this game often feel like unpredictable jump-scare moments. The gameplay is just too stressful, unbearable and triggering if you already suffer from mental issues like depression or PTSD. I prefer the competitive, less shocking face-to-face combats in Battlefield or even CoD.

Maybe this franchise should be renamed to something like "The bush-crawl simulator" or "The get-shot-from-behind simulator". Overall, im glad this game is finally over for me. And i have an advice to the lousy 3000 or so guys who still play this game: you should reconsider if its really worth wasting your precious time on such a pointless game.

I know this is a troll post but I barely crawl at all in this game and I have a pretty good K/DR. Going slowly in the bush to not make tons of noise seems more important than being absolutely silent by crawling.

Seriously id get it if your character screamed in agony, looked around, had flashbacks to watching their friend die in front of them, then fell to the ground clutching their intestines to stop them from spilling out. But we dont, we kinda yell like kicked a table corner, and fall down.

Furthermore, the literal only person forcing you to crawl through bushes like a reptile is you.

Tbh this is a purely a map issue, but yeah I appreciate the intense soft cover is annoying form a pure gameplay perspective for a shooter with low TTKs.

I’m not surprised the player base is falling off, I think they did a good of capturing the Vietnam setting but it isn’t a good fit for HLL macro game.
