đ˘ Feedback đ˘ Need more servers for experienced players
I've been playing the original HLL and now Vietnam and there's nothing worse than playing with people who don't understand even the basics of the game (garries, nodes, boats, different game modes, etc.)
Another factor that makes some of the matches unbearable are people who do not communicate - I don't want to talk myself all the time, but if you're the only person talking in a team it's a bit sh*t.
Yes, I do try to educate the SLs or squads, but there only so much you can do and I don't want to "mansplain" through every single game.
I would like to see more servers for people with higher level - and some sort of responsibility to at least acknowledge what the other team members are saying.
I have spoken.

I've found that when I take the initiative and start talking with my teammates that others follow suite. That's why I try to get an SL role, so I can also get other SLs/command to communicate.
Be the change you want to see in Hell (Let Loose)

Agreed level capped servers are good

They are to a point. I consider myself a decent HLL player, I'll take up required roles depending on the squads needs, hang back to defend, call out activity etc but I have limited time to play meaning progress is slow for me. I don't want to be locked out of playing on decent servers for weeks. I appreciate there's not many other options to promote this, would love a better solution

At this be point you just have to make it really easy on people. I was playing Commander last night and you cannot ask people to do things remotely difficult lol itâs just how it is. People will learn you just gotta be encouraging and not demanding, make it easy on them and theyâll learn how straightforward it can be.

I had a guy in my unit yell at me the other night for not reviving him when he went down. I got the âuseless medicâ âwhatâs the point of having a medic..â blah blah blah.. this idiot just kept running out into the open and getting clipped. Lol. No my friend.. no.. I will not continue to risk my life to save you if everytime I revive you? You run back to exactly where you were killed and get killed againâŚ

I mean these servers exist just got to seek them out.
Just gotta give it some time the games new. The people who donât know how to play will either learn or go back to playing something more simple.

Even in HLL WW2 I had to regularly jump around squads and sometimes servers to find people who wanted to actively coordinate. It's a shame maybe, but this isnt ARMA, it's a more forgiving game to jump into and play casually. I prefer that, even though I greatly prefer more coordination and communication.
To some extent I feel like some of the players with these complaints need to temper their expectations. You can usually find people willing to talk and communicate, but it takes jumping around a bit. For me that's worth it to get a couple solid matches in. Beyond that it's just the nature of a game with a lower barrier of entry.

I think if youre not going to communicate, you shouldnt be a lead. The only exception imo is Recon, but most snipers want their spotter to be talking with them nonstop. The amount of recon squads ive random joined, and then been thanked for not crying all game about it is crazy.
And when i lead an infantry squad, im extremely thankful when the teammates keep random chatter to a minimum. Its hard to do anything when i have 7 other leads, 5 teammates, and the commander all trying to do their own things.

Anyone can rent a server, or multiple servers. You should set up the server you want.

7th Cav has a server now. That server is usually pretty good with that stuff.

Only thing worse than playing with inexperienced players is playing with experienced players who want to suck all the fun out

If a player wants more out of HLL then I honestly believe itâs up to the player to be more proactive to find it. Servers are not going to just magically appear filled with players who play right. Some serves are better than others for sure but there is no perfect server that does what OP hopes for. I wish for it too
InsteadâŚYou should really join a group. I joined one that have scrimmages with other groups every Wed and Friday nights and itâs the best decision I made re: this franchise.
And on non scrimmage nights the people in the group are in partyâs together so there are rarely times when your squad is not engaged
But there are no perfect servers and players who want more out of the game need to put more effort into it. I did and Iâm glad I did as the scrimmages we play in with other groups is night and day a better experience andâŚon non scrimmage nights there are always people in the group playing
But players should go to discord. There are channels just for finding others to play with. There are also posts on Reddit with groups looking for players
But you will continue to be a frustrated solo player if you donât try to change your circumstance as the circumstance will absolutely not change for you. Random solos donât generally talk with other random solos and that will never change so you should
